9/12 great article ! Who am I to say no to going to WDW?

Here is what I would like to do:
Downtown Disney
Basin- I have never been in and think that I would love to get myself a treat there!

This is on my list for our upcoming trip! I can't believe there is somewhere in WDW I've never set foot.

Do you have 1st trip ornaments for the girls, too? That is such a sweet tradition!

I think your non-park plans sound great! It will be so nice for you to relax and get those little Disney things done without feeling like you are "wasting" precious park time. :thumbsup2

LOVE your down days! We are traveling a day early this year and getting a hotel offsite so we can wake up our first official day refreshed.

What is Basin?

OMGosh! I moved my classroom 2 years in a row and it was a pain in the rump! The first year was fine, I got rid of a lot of junk stuff and felt really organized. The second year I was over it and felt so unorganized the entire year because I really didn't want to move the stuff so I didn't go through it. I cannot imagine doing it another year! Why are you guys losing kids?

I was thinking of you last night! Sorry that Xavier lost....what a GREAT game that was! Hope your DH wasn't too upset:sad2: The 23rd you should go to DHS in the morning...cause we will be there!:rotfl: Actually you can go and collect some fastpasses and then head out early and swim/relax all afternoon! We will be eating at 50's that night! I think our plan is to skip Fantasmic this year, which breaks my heart because we all LOVE that show but I really can't deal with ALL THOSE people!

I have not been to Basin either...I was browsing their website yesterday!

I have an ornament for both girls. Hannah's is the baby Minnie, with her name and year of first visit on it. Emily has Mouse Ears with same info. Who knows what Luke will get...Emily's is actually on a shelf in her room!

I wish we had a down day in the middle... I hope we can make it!

You need to check out their website. I have seen their goodies on these boards and want to get something for myself!

I have no idea where most my stuff is this year, after a sub and my partner did a ton of organizing the room. I need to move to find things again!

Ugg... the game! I am still so sad! And I am a single parent... although the girls are at my parents.

While we have the Fantasmic dinner package I am still not 100% sure we will even be able to make it. I would love to see it though, and I think the girls would like it. My mom saw it last trip, but my dad has never seen it.

Ahhh! Lots of West and We-waxation sounds good to me!! :thumbsup2

Kathy

I could use a pool day soon!

So sorry about the game :(.

Your first two days look lovely -- lots of relaxing and just enjoying the resort, DtD, and Ohana's. I keep trying to figure in resort time, but then I look at my lists and think, "There is no way we will get everything done!"

I like the idea of personalized ornaments. Do you wait while they do it? Does it take a long time?

I really thought XU had it right up til the end. what a bummer! Those first couple of days will be a fabulous way to transition from the craziness of home life to the excitement of Disney. The hubby and I have been talking about how we need to stack our next trip more like that the next time we go.

Looking forward to the new AK plans! I feel like I need a fresh idea with that park!

Here are a few Basin pictures for you. (Taken in November.)

That place smells so good! On my trip last week, I picked up Jill a bar of princess soap and Ashley (the girl Trent is dating) a bar of strawberry. Coincidentally, both of those are shown in the picture that I took in November.

One could spend much money in that store!

Basin seems a lot like Lush? Love that store! I saw it there in Nov, but didn't go in... re the ornaments, a personalized one sounds like a good idea. I bought some mickey heads this past Nov and they were a hit at our house when I put them on our tree! :santa:

Sorry again about X!!!!

I love your first two days---sound so relaxing!!! I want to check out BASIN now too!!!!

I found my Mickey soap at Basin up near the register -- I am hoping they still have them in June so I can stock up on it!

Sorry about the basketball game. I think your first two days sound great. I have tried on our last few trips to build some relaxing resort time in especially around the pool. :beach: My boys have always loved their pool time while in Disney.

Basin looks like a store a girl could get lost in.

Hey Laura,

Got your message and just thought I would respond here so Jackie and Jenn can get caught up too! Thanks so much for asking..

I'm doing good, but feeling so big.. there just isn't anymore room left in here! I can no longer sleep well. I am 30 weeks Monday, they both are measuring just over 3 pds .

They say everything is right on target.. If I don't go on my own, they said I wouldn't go past 38 weeks which puts me end of May.. So we'll see what happens.. Still trying to figure out names etc..

So while you guys are having soo much fun in Disney , I'll be pulling my hair out! haha..

All your plans sound great!

Our resort time is only due to the extra no park days at the beginning of the trip. I still cannot grasp that we are doing seven park days and my husband has not freaked out yet!

We pick out ornaments and they always have a sign saying when they will be done. I think they can just send them on to your resort- I know we have gone back later and picked them up. Just can't be too late in your trip or it doesn't work!

I also think it will help me a ton sleep wise. I am always so hyped that I sleep terrible the first night at WDW- excitement I guess. This year I won't be headed to a park the first day!

We will see if my AK plan makes it better for us... coming soon!

I can always count on you to have pictures! Thanks so much! I just want one treat for the baths I never get to take!

Oooh, we love bath bombs! And that pirate soap...too cool!

I saw online they have a mini sampler set....:cool1:

We have tons of Disney ornaments on our tree... I could probably do a Disney tree- maybe someday!

Sorry again about X!!!!

We were down your way today... we went to Otterville and Florence Mall (Disney store shopping- but I struck out, they had none of the things I liked in Hannah's size)

I found my Mickey soap at Basin up near the register -- I am hoping they still have them in June so I can stock up on it!

That is what I want!

I'm gonna have to a trip to Basin in June. . .

Me too!

I love good smelling body stuff!

Our KU got beat last night, I totally understand how you are feeling!:guilty:

I still am blue:confused3

So glad you are doing good..... I bet so cute too! My dear sister in law is having trouble getting pregnant and the running joke is twins---- then I can borrow one and won't have to fight my mom or her! I cannot believe how old my sweet baby is ... it won't be long until your boys are here!

Quick update!

I was out shopping with my sister in law and in the dollar bins at Target I got a Disney World touring book- who can pass that up in the dollar bin. So if you are in your Targets... check it out!
