9-08-2010 Pirates through the Mediterranean/ Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A Pirates Life for Us

Thank you soo much Trisha, this is a great help. Obviously still no news on Tink Rules Cabin number. We are actually leaving for Spain on Tuesday of this week, so we'll try and catch up with the forum as and when we can. Looking forward to all the fun we are going to have...... Marie & Jon

Now that I have seen what this is I will have to do it next cruise. The FE definately looks like a cool thing. For future reference how do I get included in the FE gift exchange on a cruise.

Thanks Trisha!

Thanks for the other Colloseum site Cquick :) I'll check back. I was starting to really think I was missing the boat so to speak by not having it booked already.

Yes, I'm so excited. We got surprising news regarding my husband's next assignment so we're very much looking forward to our trip together! And a chance to just relax and forget about it for a bit :) YAY for vacation!

But I totally agree with there not being enough hours to get the "prep" work done!

We are cruising with our three year old daughter too! It's going to be a blast! What are your plans for the ports? We are leaving her on board for a couple of the ports because we figured it would be too long of a day for her off.

We're leaving our 4 yr old on board during a majority of our excursions. There is a little guilt on our part, but I know he would hate the whole touring/sightseeing thing. As he would say with his new favorite phrase "This is boring!" When the rates dropped, we decided to bring him along and added both sets of grandparents and my sister in the process to assist. One set will be doing half day excursions and getting him when they return. If he is anything like he was on the June 2009 trip, he won't want to leave the Club. We even left him in there for a lunch and a dinner because he begged to stay. We may include him on two half day excursions that will include all 8 family members if he wants. Can't believe we only have 3 weeks!

My mother and I are booked on the Magic B2B Mediterranean and TA.
I know we got in on this rather late, but would like to join in on whatever activities are still available.

gatzsd- I was wondering if it would be possible to contact the tour company in Villefranche to see if they could contract a larger van to accomodate a few more? It wouldn't let me PM anyone since I haven't posted enough.

DS (7) has now lost one of his two top teeth and the other one appears to be coming out this week. Wonder what our photos are going to look like now!! At least he will look like a real pirate on pirate night!! Starting to stage some of our stuff for the trip now..........can we speed up the clocks somehow.

:welcome:Welcome aboard!:welcome:

One thing you might be interested in is the CHAMPAGNE GIRLS PARTY! It will be on the first sea day ( the day after Barcelona) I will have tiaras and pink boas for you. If you want to drink champagne, you can either buy it in Barcelona or on the ship. It will be in my stateroom # 7636!

I know they don't have a larger van, because I had asked previously - but you can always book another separate van. The problem is that it is 600 Euro whether it is 2 people or 8 people. You can see if anyone else is interested in joining you? The company is Revelation Tours and their website is www.revelation-tours.com.

I am hoping that she will also love the club and won't want to leave! She still needs help with the potty though so that makes me nervous - especially with the all day excursions - so I booked Flounders as a back up plan since she will just be turning 3. I also tried getting the grandparents to come too, but they weren't interested. I think no matter what they will have a great time, and agreed she will have more fun on the ship than out on tours all day.

Basically, you come to your cruise meet and sign up. Ours happens to be closed right now (sorry about that, but we had to set a date on it so we could get shopping done), but if you get there before it's closed, you can usually join up no problem!

A couple of cruises ago, I got in too late to be on the list, but I brought gifts for everyone and hung up my FE anyway. I got SOME gifts! A lot fo people bring extras just in case!

Hello Ms Colleen and Betty,

If your on the TA, may I suggest you come over to the Sept 18th Pirate thread and introduce yourself? Its a lively bunch of people and many of us are also doing the B2B, as I am and I believe cquick and a few others.

:welcome:

Another here for the B2B. Look forward to meeting you both.

So tonight the DS was looking so snaggletoothed (we started calling him Nanny McPhee, if that helps the visual) that we held him down (while he's fake crying, and peeking to see if we're laughing at him...) and pulled out that second front tooth, now, he's a total pirate, with really bad dental hygiene!!! :lmao:

No Tinkerbell for the tooth fairy in this family for this trip!
