Ok, so I'm thinking I'm going to book a time at the Vatican a little later in the day. I am getting excited PacSafe bags are ordered, found a place to rent a lens for the trip for my DSLR and a guy that does one-on-one classes here to get me out of auto mode.

Less than a month people!

I purchased Vatican Museum tickets online at the Vatican site. We PLAN to get up early, catch the train into Rome. Go to the Vatican first, and then see what we are up to after that.

*sigh* No hotel in Barcelona yet, DH doesn't seem to make this much of a priority. He keeps changing our flights too! Now we are leaving earlier so that we have a full night in London and a full day to sight-see. That is probably good! He PROMISES to make the reservation this weekend! We will definitely be there all day Tuesday and Wednesday.

We're not getting there until later that night, coming from Paris and going to Versailles that day!

We've got all of our tours finalized I think, I'm working on the FE gifts, they are looking pretty cool, and drove for 3 hours through a driving rainstorm last night to get from Kansas City to Camdenton, MO where we're spending the weekend at Lake of the Ozarks to keep from going crazy! This is worse than Christmas Eve when you're 4!!!!

Fun! I'm working on our FE itself right now- first time to do it on a cruise. Then, gifts and in the mean time, finalizing plans for port days. I know what I want to do for FE gifts, just a matter of figuring out exactly how to put them all together and make it be what it is in my head

This is our first cruise and we just booked (definately late). We can't wait to take our 3 yr old daughter on this cruise. It has already started off awesome since we had a Cat 6 room and we are now upgraded to a Cat 4 on the 8th Deck. Looking forward to this trip and reading all of your advice.

Are you still planning to go hiking along the Blue Path between the Cinque Terre in La Spezia port? My husband, Chuck, hopes you are, he'd like to tag along. Been looking at the websites about the Cinque Terre! What a beautiful part of the country.....we could use 3 or 4 days there........but then we'd miss something else. oh, well.

Yup ... those are still the plans. Hopefully I can get together some sort of "step by step" for the day before we leave here. There'll likely be another cruiser friend of ours and perhaps her mother. From what we understand it's all fairly straightforward.

Yes, excited but more stressed right now as there are not enough hours in the day/weekend. Working is kicking my butt. I just got home from putting in 7 hours on Saturday in addition to my 12.5, 12, 10.5 and 2 10 hour days this week. I feel I am definately earning this vacation!

We are cruising with our three year old daughter too! It's going to be a blast! What are your plans for the ports? We are leaving her on board for a couple of the ports because we figured it would be too long of a day for her off.

WELCOME 1st Cruise! Our 1st Cruise too and we also book cat 6 and got cat 4 on deck 8 so we are deck mates! We are a bit older but it is good to meet you!

We will have no internet once we leave the states so if a meet up in Barcelona is planned for Tues i need to know before the 4th. Anywhere anytime is great!

I am having the same problem but I think I remember reading somewhere that you can't book until 2 weeks prior. If I find that information in my pounds of notes I'll post it.
