9-08-2010 Pirates through the Mediterranean/ Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A Pirates Life for Us

Basically, you come to your cruise meet and sign up. Ours happens to be closed right now (sorry about that, but we had to set a date on it so we could get shopping done), but if you get there before it's closed, you can usually join up no problem!

Thanks. I will make sure that we do this next cruise.

:welcome:Welcome aboard!:welcome:

One thing you might be interested in is the CHAMPAGNE GIRLS PARTY! It will be on the first sea day ( the day after Barcelona) I will have tiaras and pink boas for you. If you want to drink champagne, you can either buy it in Barcelona or on the ship. It will be in my stateroom # 7636!
Connie
I would very much like to be included in the Girls Party Please if there is still room.
Thankyou
Lind@

NO problem! There's always room for another Champagne girl! If you don't have a tiara and boa, I'll have them. If you want to buy champagne, I suggest buying it in Barcelona. The party will be in my room 7636 on Sept 9....um time? I think I said 1pm. oh, dear. can't remember now. need more coffee!

You did say 1:00 :cool1: (perhaps you don't need coffee, but more champaigne?)

Thanks for the info Gatzsd.
If anyone is interested in taking another van on a private tour in Villefranche let me know.
I know there were others who joined in late also, so hopefully we can get this together yet!

I am hoping that she will also love the club and won't want to leave! She still needs help with the potty though so that makes me nervous - especially with the all day excursions - so I booked Flounders as a back up plan since she will just be turning 3. I also tried getting the grandparents to come too, but they weren't interested. I think no matter what they will have a great time, and agreed she will have more fun on the ship than out on tours all day.

I will apologize in advance (to others reading this) for my potty training comments but thought our experiences would help. My son was potty trained for one for six months but potty trained for the other days before we got on the boat. They will not allow pull-ups as a back up plan even though they didn't realize our son was wearing them until the last day. When I talked to staff, they informed me that they are not allowed to enter the bathroom with the children. They wait at the door. If a child is crying or needs help, two staff members will enter the bathroom. Disney is great about taking care of the kids no matter what the circumstances are.

Maybe if we all post twice a day for the next two weeks before we leave we can make 1000 posts!

My mother and I are booked on the Magic B2B Mediterranean and TA.
I know we got in on this rather late, but would like to join in on whatever activities are still available.

gatzsd- I was wondering if it would be possible to contact the tour company in Villefranche to see if they could contract a larger van to accomodate a few more? It wouldn't let me PM anyone since I haven't posted enough.

Have you signed on to the Sept 18 2010 WB TransAtlantic Pirates/Capt Jacks Re-Repoing Repossession Cruise Pt.8 http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2515426?

There are a lot of us B2B'ers on there. Connie

I agree about the Disney members being awesome. I booked Flouders for my son on our last cruise (last summer) and he was just under 3, but potty trained. I assumed since he was under 3, he'd have to do the nursery, after all, more money for Disney right? But they told me he would be better suited for the Club and it was fine if he went. Now, DD is PT'd and almost 2... I'm curious what they'll do with her :confused3

I do think it'll be chilly some ports and on the water at night- I have a couple light weight tops I'm bringing just in case it is. And of course, something waterproof!

Think that's all I needed to reply to :) Oh, do you know how many bottles we can bring on board? It was mentioned to get champagne in Barcelona.

And, the outlets on the ship are standard for American outlets? They're not European and we need a converter, right?

Thanks!

Is our ship full????
I went onto the DCL website today and it says that our cruise is unavailable- I tried it a couple of different times. The days leading up listed only a couple of categories available and the prices varied almost daily. What is interesting the cruise right before us which is 11 nights has almost full availability. I chose this sailing because I actually thought it would be less full - I guess I was wrong! I actually would of prefered the extra day at sea, but oh well. I just hope I still have a shot at upgrading at the port.

As for the Kids Club - I know my daughter will do great in there, but I booked Flounders for the full days that we are leaving the ship just in case they have any issues with the potty. I think I am just going to talk with the manager when we get there and tell her she does great, but I will let them evaluate her.

You guys rock. I didn't know these boards existed...so much of the lingo is beyond me...but I love hearing all your input. Do any of you know if the staterooms have 110 or 220 outlets? Maybe how many? I'm thinkin w/2 of us and our gadgets.....
