I just dropped Scott and the kids off at the airport this afternoon. They're flight to Toronto should be taking off about now, then on to London!

I just have to straighten the house, pack my makeup in my extra-super-secure backpack that's safe from pickpockets, have dinner, paint my nails, crud... I've got a ton to do tonight!

But, I leave tomorrow night, fly direct to London so after tomorrow, we won't post again until we get back, we'll be too busy having a great time with you guys!

Me too! piles everywhere...but nothing packed...and I keep changing my mind!!!! I have to have the packing done before I get my nails done on Sunday, right?

Uh...I think maybe I should pack, but I always wait till the last minute. I am glad I have the weekend.

I ordered them from the Vatican Museums tickets online site. I used my credit card and you get vouchers, which you turn in at the special window, from what I understand. We are going to rent headsets when we get there.

Hmmm we googled tickets for vatican but were not able to get an afternoon--Im afraid 10:30 might be cutting it close? What site did you use and did you get the tickets immediately ie: print them off? You have been such a big help to us rookies --cant thank you enough--hope to meet you on the cruise!
We have 3 kids we're leaving behind (my middle one is starting her 1st day of HS the day we leave!) seems crazy and has been a ton of work to make it happen but they are all 2 thumbs up for Mom and Dad to have a second honeymoon. Are you traveling as a couple or with kids?

BTW....you are very welcome to join us in Rome. We are doing the Vatican Museums first Got our tickets for 9:30am. then we are doing lunch and then the HOHO bus, and the Coliseum. There will be at least 6 us us together, please join us!

OK, How are you planning on getting there by 9:30am??? When I look at the trains it looks like about 1.5 hours to get there? Im ready to book our tickets but thought even 10:30 am was to early? Advise?

I ordered tickets last night for 2:00pm and plenty of other afternoon times were available. A voucher prints that you exchange for tickets once you get to the Vatican. This is the site our private tour told us to use, and I think it is the official site. Good luck.

Hey cquick--Is your ticket for the vatican museums and sistine chapel? Does that include St Peters? I see a 9:30 and 10:30 available but how to ensure we get there on time? Are you planning on taking the train?

Yes, look us up the first sea day. Are you coming to my stateroom for the Champagne Girls party? It's at 1pm in stateroom 7636. You can buy a bottle at the port in Barcelona, or if you don't drink, just come to the party!

We might drop by! Won't have time to buy champagne. We fly in on Wednesday morning I just want to meet a few fellow dis'ers, who love Disney as much as I do.

OMG, I fly out in 10 hours!! I know I haven't been on here in AGES, but I'm so excited I had to post something! After planning this trip for 2 years I can't believe it's finally here.

I'm still not 100% sure how I'm going to keep myself entertained for the next 2 days until Johanna arrives in Barcelona, but then I know there will be plenty for the next 26 days to keep us both more than entertained!

Can't wait to meet you all!!
