"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This may be a long shot question: anyone with DAS successfully used it on the Jack and Sally meet and greet? The DAS cast member I spoke to when applying said that Meet and Greets aren't in the app for DAS, but we may be able to get a return time by talking to the CMs outside the line. Can anyone confirm? TIA!
Yes my DD did last week. She went to the CM at the line and got her return time for Jack and Sally.

She’s been trying for years! Two years ago I went with her (DAS) but the wait was still two long for her (we bailed after a long wait too much for her.)

This year I’m pretty sure they were listed in the app to show wait times but I don’t think you can reserve since DD got it in person.

We will be at MK during the day on Friday (regular park ticket), and we also have party tickets for that night. We are planning on leaving mid-day to hang out in one of the monorail resorts, and then come back to the park probably sometime around 4:30. Will we be able to get our party wristbands (is that still a thing?) in the park in the morning, or will will have to deal with that when we come back to MK in the late afternoon?

No. You can’t get the party wristbands until 4pm.
You should just go through the party line when re-entering at 4:30 and get your wristbands then.

My husband & I were at tonight’s party. We started seeing lightning about 9:15, but no rain. We had no interest in the fireworks & we’re making our way from tomorrowland as the fireworks were about half done. As we left the Tomorrowland terrace area, it started to drizzle. It started raining big drops by the time we were at the end of main street. Came down hard as we got to the monorail station. And then, the torrential rains started. We’re sitting on the monorail at Contemporary right now. We were held at MK for about 10 minutes after we boarded & now being held at CR. They have no timeline for when we can continue. The CM announced if anyone wants to get off, use the rest room or get a drink, we’ll still be here. Also if we want to get off & get a ride share. Said they’re working on getting busses but they have no idea how long that will take or when the monorail can resume. I’m just glad we actually got out of the park & have a seat in the monorail.

Started pouring halfway through the fireworks. I’m on a scooter… managed to put ponchos over everything then headed for a spot to wait it out. But it just poured and poured! After an hour I headed out through the torrent taking the walking path back to the Grand Floridian, through puddles over people’s ankles! Transport looked a mess which I guess is not surprising.

Been to many a MNSSHP through the years… let’s just say I’ve had better. But I did feel bad for those with little ones for whom this was their first and possibly only Halloween party.

So we got on a monorail at MK a few minutes after 10. We sat there for at least 15 minutes waiting for the OK to pull away. We finally left only to be held at CR, for about 45 minutes. The CM was announcing people could get off, use the rest room, get a drink & we’d still be waiting. They had no idea when we’d be able to leave again. Eventually they said buses had been dispatched to take people to the monorail resorts, but we could stay in if we wanted. We decided to stay on, since standing at the CR bus stop in torrential rain & lightning didn’t sound good. About 10 minutes later, we were told the monorail would not come back up tonight, so we’d need to get off & go take a bus.

We went down to the lobby, the line for a bus filled the bus stop. I requested a Minnie Van which was 25 minutes out. About 10 minutes later, we saw a family from our monorail car. They said the buses stopped running because the monorail was back running. I cancelled the Minnie Van & we went back to the monorail. There was only 1 security station open, had to take the elevator up, the escalator wasn’t running. Security was slow, we missed a train while we were in line. The next one that came was packed, some people got off, but we walked the whole line, every car was packed with strollers & scooters with nowhere to even stand. Only about 6 people got on, 3 other groups & DH & I had to go back out & wait for another monorail. That one had a few more people get off so we found a car to get on.

At the TTC, almost 3/4 of the monorail emptied out. This was really annoying. The express monorail was running, but resort guests couldn’t get on because people going to the TTC were filling the resort line.

We left MK at 10, didn’t get back to Grand Floridian until 11:55!! Another family we spoke to tried to ask about the monorail & buses at the CR. The CM at the front desk told them she didn’t know anything about the monorail & kind of dismissed them. A Disney Springs bus driver had told them there were no buses to monorail resorts & they’d have to go to Disney Springs from CR to get to Polynesian! No answers, no communication to guests. It was a real mess. I get the weather can’t be controlled. But this is Florida during hurricane season. Storms like this are not a 1 off. They should have a plan but if they do, they didn’t implement it well. Nor did they communicate & care for their guests.

Well as already reported above tonight’s MNSSHP was great until about half way through fireworks. It began with thunder and lightning and a few drops of rain which became torrential rains by the end of fireworks. Hordes of guests began leaving park in the heavy rain and the bus area was mess. We arrived at bus stop but had to wait for 3 bus loads to leave before there was room for our ECV. We were planning on staying for the 2nd parade which ended up cancelled☹️. I actually had to pour the water out of my shoes and wring out my pants. Looks like rain next several days but hopefully we can get some morning park time.

I was in my room at Beach Club Villas when I heard some loud booms - thought for a minute maybe there was a second fireworks show at Epcot - then realized it was thunder…yikes!

That's too bad! Might it be worth trying again to see if they can let you in Tuesday. Two years in a row of torrential rain is pretty bad luck for MNSSHP

Is it though if you typically go during hurricane season? There's a reason why it's one of the few remaining slow seasons Disney World actually experiences and the prices reflect that. June through September are the wettest of the year (and hottest and muggiest).

I get being disappointed things rained out, I just don't understand the surprise. Especially on Disney's part for coordinating guests as @focusondisney described.

Looking for someone to help out.

Wife and I were able to make the first party and had a great time. regretfully the one piece of merch that wasn't there was the one I have collected for the last couple parties - the tervis cup. Got our pins and shirts but no cup. We love this years designs so I'm hoping someone who is going can help me out in getting a cup.

We watched the 1st parade from just to the right of hall of presidents. Something was going on but no idea what. The parade was stopped just out of our site for at least 10- 15 minutes. We could hear the music & see the lights just sitting there. When it started moving it was at a snails pace, barely moving. A security guard walked up the street at 1 point & stood watching for several minutes. No idea what the issue was.

Also, the graveyard diggers weren’t in the parade, so that was very disappointing as well.
