Exactly one year ago, Steve Irwin was killed.
This has been bugging me all day.
I miss him.

In all honesty, I don't miss him (because I didn't know him so I have nothing to miss) but it does seem like less than a year ago.

It has NOT been one year already. It seems like it was only 4 or 5 months.

I miss Steve Irwin. Me and my daddy watched him together. It's sad not hearing things about him anymore.

It doesn't seem like a year ago. But it was. I remember. I was at the Today show in NYC. It was the headline. They told us before they started the show "Please, don't carry on at the beginning of the show with screams and hollers. We're opening the show with the very tragic news of Steve Irwin's death." And everyone in the crowd suddenly silenced. It was weird.
