How did the graduation and party go?
We had some thunderstorms Friday night, but Saturday and today were great!
I hope the nice weather made its way to you....

Hi Doreen!! How was Cody's graduation? The graduation at our high school was Friday night too & it got moved inside. Our kindergarteners went to lead the pledge of allegiance. They had to decide by mid-day, even though they didn't know if it would rain or not. We did get a little thunderstorm with some hail around 4:00-4:30 but then it wasn't bad. Zach ended up having his baseball game Friday night without any trouble. I think it was a tough night to predict!

The graduation was outside & we were SO lucky NO rain!! The school called all parents (instant alert) & said it would be outside but to be prepared for rain. I was thrilled it was outside because it was not limited to the number of people that could attend & it is better outside. We sat there watching & listening to the speakers & praying that the rain would hold off & it did!!
When we got home we had thunder, lightening & rain but we were home already.

Saturday was beautiful & the party was great!! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves & Cody made out like a bandit.

Wow you got hail??? We did not get anything until about 9:30 that night when we were back home. We were very lucky. I kept looking at the clouds rolling in all afternoon & kept telling the sun to fight. Well it did because the sun came out a few times during the ceremony. Right when the ceremony started it came out.
In some of the pics I took the sky looked very scary!!

We had a great few days!

Phew!!! I am going to try and do an update on my lunch hour today as it is raining here so I will not be able to sit out on my deck & read which is what I do if it is nice out. So I will get an update done today.

Ok enough talk about the graduation. It was very nice & it was so nice to see family & friends on Saturday. I just relaxed on Sunday after it was all over. Now back to our regularly scheduled program....

I left off that we had just finished an awesome meal once again at Boma. The first bus that came was Epcot so we headed there knowing we could go through the IG back to BC.

We walked through FW & into WS. My guys realized that the British Revolution was playing so we stopped to listen to them.

They are good but I like the British Invasion better because they played all Beatles. And I love the Beatles.

We got back to the room & I went to the lounge for some dessert & sat on the balcony & then took showers. Cody went to the gym & Ryan watched some hockey playoff game. I think we were all asleep by 11:00.

Sautrday 4-21-12

We got up around 7:45 & went to the lounge for breakfast. (We loved that lounge)!! Then we walked to Epcot & arrived around 9:00.

I just noticed your previous post. I thought it was very nice that he wore a shirt & tie. I think all the boys look so much better wearing them.

We kept looking at the sky as we were sitting in the bleachers & praying that it would hold off until after the ceremony. I think my my late Mom & FIL were up there looking down on us & telling the powers that be that it cannot rain on their grandsons graduation. And it worked.

We LOVE going during F&G. I love all the topiaries & flowers. I just love going during that time of year. But then again I love ANY time down there. We love Oct. also. I do not think we will be able to swing it this Oct. as we have to see how much $$$ for college but Jeff & I are hoping for Oct. 2013.

It is so funny how DH got some comments on his Metal Show t shirt. I got it online at zazzle.com. Just do a search on the site & put in That Metal Show T shirts & a few choices will come up. Yes I was very happy with that purchase as he was SO surprised.
