Monday morning, we went to EMH at AK, We got right on the Safari which was great, because all the animals were out and about, it had to be the best Safari we have have been on there.
Walked right on Dinasour, no lines, ride was a little scary to my 9 year old DS at first, but then he really liked it. A little to short for me. Went to ITTBAB and got in right away. We always enjoy this show. I must admit the best part of this for me was KRR, be prepared to get really wet if you sit in the wrong seat. Cant tell you which seat it is, because the ride turns, but I got soaked, most everyone else didnt get wet at all, and a couple of folks got a little damp. It was a very hot humid day and this really cooled me off. Park closes early so we left around 430 and were going to eat at the rain forest. We did not have a PS, not sure if they take them there, but the wait was about 15 min. When they seated us they were going to put us in the bar, Im not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but I didnt really want my 9 year old DS sitting at the bar for dinner, so I asked if we could wait for an available table, the woman was very nasty, and said that was all she had, I explained no problem, we didnt mind waiting. She then proceded to sit every party on line behind us before she finally sat us. Then she put us in the back against the bar service walkway, where 20 min. later we were still waiting for a waiter. I finally spoke to my DH and we decided to leave, but not before I spoke to the manager. I explained what happened and he was very apologetic, asked me if we would please stay and he promised to make everything right. I happen to be kind of stubborn and I told him, we would not be eating there but I wanted him to know what had happened. You can obviously tell this is not owned and run by Disney.
We wound up at McDonalds that night, as its right down the road from AK and then we drove around the Inter. Drive area for a while, got some Krispy Kreme dougnuts and went back to the resort. Swam and had an early night.
