8 AM Breakfastosauraus - Transport from Pop Century?

We have a 8 AM PS for Donald's Breakfastosaurus at AK for our upcoming trip. We will be staying at Pop Century. Although we will have our car on property, we normally exculsively use Disney bus transportation. For this I had thought about driving, and then read something someone posted on another thread that said toll booths [don't know where] don't open until 8 AM so that if you had an 8 AM PS for Donald's Breakfastosaurus at AK and tried to drive there, you would be late. Has anyone done this before? How did you get from your resort to the AK? Tyler - if you are out there, I'd love some advice.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Take the bus -- it will get you there in plenty of time. Just be out at the bus stop around 7:15. This will allow for 15 minutes wait time if you just missed the bus, 15 minutes travel time, and 15 minutes walk time. Chances are, it won't take anywhere near that, but it's best to arrive early.

Do what Tyler says, take the bus!

The parking lot does not open early, therefore Disney transportation is the only way to travel.

I just did this last Tuesday. We were a little late getting out of the room to head to the bus too. We got on the bus around 7:45 because we got out there at 7:30 and had to wait for the next one. I called the front desk at Pop and asked them to call the restaurant for us. When we got to Animal Kingdom it was about 8:00 and there was a photographer out front wanting to take our picture. I said "we can't we're late for breakfast!" He said "you're never late at Disney" so we had the picture done and showed up at breakfast about 10-15 minutes late. It really was no problem and when we finished eating the park was empty. Great fun. I think you'll be fine with the bus.
