Drinks and kids in the pool sound like a good idea. I was hoping we would all have the kids with us so they could meet also.

Patti- Sounds great!!! I started to pack today-this is really happening!!! My kids are excited all they talk about is sleeping on a boat. It's THIS WEEK!!! I better get myself in gear-we are going to try and meet their kindergarden teacher this week as we will be gone for the open house on the 30th. Laundry, packing-and I better tend to dinner before I burn it. The count down is on. Karen

Of course this morning I woke up and got all the dirty laundry in my washing machine and it filled with water and STOPPED. Luckily my nice appliance guy came out this afternoon and fixed it after I had bailed it out!!! So I am FINALLY doing wash so we can pack! We are leaving on Thursday to start towards Florida! See you all on SATURDAY!!!!!

My 6 yr. old DD is going into first grade and we'll be missing the open house. On that day they get to go in and meet the teacher and pick their desks. Lauren chose her teacher so she already knows her but I haven't told her about the desk thing because she would worry during the whole trip that she wouldn't get to sit near anyone she knows. She's a little worry-wart

Our children (Alec and Brooke) will be in the same class. We did not request a teacher so we won't know until Thursday. Alec will probably have a more difficult time getting on the bus without knowing who will be there on the other end. Brooke on the other hand will fly by the seat of her pants!!! So I am crossing my fingers that we con do this before leaving on Friday morning. I'm the nervous nelly-both my babies going off to kindergarten.

Hi Karen,

Mary Ann from Maryland here! We are basically doing our own thing on the islands. We will probably shop on St. Maarten and then try to snorkle somewhere on St. Thomas. We have considered going over to St. John but have about decided not to do that. The "up" side to going on a Disney sponsored excursion is that you don't have to worry about getting "left" on shore if you are with an excursion, and you don't have to plan anything. The "down" side is that they are usually much more expensive than doing it on your own, you are in a Large group of people, and it is totally inflexible.

Looking forward to meeting you on the cruise!

Hi,

We weren't going to plan any excursions but have decided to do the See and Sea on St. Martins and do St. Thomas on our own.

Ronnie's going to miss his open house so he won't get to meet his teacher either. He's going to be in 4th grade so he already know most of the teachers.

Ugh! Mine died on Saturday, we ended up having to go and buy a new one on Sunday. I can definitely sympathize!

My flight bag is all packed and my green ribbon is tied in a bow on the handle!! (the ribbon has purple on the other side though!)

Now all I have to do is all the rest of the stuff!!

We reserved a jeep for the day on St. Maarten-we're planning on doing the Butterfly Farm and the beach. I like being in control of my own schedule which is why we're not doing Disney's Butterfly Farm Tour. For St. Thomas we'll probably just do some shopping.

We are very excited too!!! We are doing St Martin on our own and we are taking the barefoot catamaran to St Johns. Our children are really excited about that. Tried to book a beach thing in St Martin but due to the adult content (clothing optional) decided against it. Looking forward to meeting you too. We are flying out Friday. Karen

Well I have my ribbon so you guys can find me, it is more of a Mint Green rather than Lime Green, but it should suffice. Did the last Walmart haul for the last minute essentials. We leave tomorrow afternoon!!! See you guys on Deck 10 at 3PM!!!!
