8/17-8/21 dAY 2 nASSAU

Day 2 of our first four day! I am up at the crack of Dawn due to the TV alarm going on, I guess the people before us had it set and did not turn it off. So I go up on Deck while DH gets up and ready. I get my Coffee and look out. I see a small boat and think wow what is that small boat doing so far off shore. OK duh moment. I then look to my left and see land not to far off. It was a great sight. So I go get my hubby so we can watch us pull into port. It amazed me how he back that huge ship into port! We were in awe of how pretty everything SEEMED from the ship. The water, the town...we ever had a rainbow in port as we pulled in. It was breth taking....Then we got off the ship! We only got about 10 feet into town when we had people asking to braid my hair. OK that would not have been to much of a shock except I have short hair? The one women said" Oh pretty lady, your hair not to short to barid...." OK for those of you who have seen the movie Liar Liar with Jim Carry all's we could picture was the secretery that he say"what ever takes the focas off your head..." too, with the hair sticking straight up. So we poelitly passed on her offer. So we walk to the street to find the approved shops. We passed a dead rat and a homeless puppy . Not to good so far. We did get some good buys on Jewlery and alcohol then ran back to ship!!! Next time we go we either stay on ship or try Paridise Island. Ok safly back on ship we head to Beach Blanket for lunch. It was a very good American buffet. Food was excellent! We took the afternoon to enjoy the ship. Spent some down time in the room. It was very nice! Went for a swim and just relaxed. We had the late dinner so we went to see teh Herculese show at 6:30. Very funny show! We enjoyed that very much. Tonight Dinner was at Animators. Wonderful show. Although the food was great, we felt that the food at Tritons the night before was better, but the show was better here. We loved all the resturants each for there own reason. After dinner we went up to deck 10 to watch the Tropical deck party and the fireworks. It was truly amazing. As I stood there vidio tapping the fireworks I got an amazing guilt trip because we were on a anniv. trip without the 3 kids, so we went and bought then more toys. The kids really got a lot and they were not even with us. We stayed on the deck for awhile and partyed. It was a lot of fun. About 1 am we were off to bed and sail to castaway cay!!!
