DID I GET the 1200th spot?????

Awww shucks... I missed it!

OH NO!!!!! WE HAVE ANOTHER BECKA HERE!!!! :lmao: Actually, that can happen. There were days when we passed 1000 posts in a day.

Mathamatician Alert!!!

So lets' see... where are we now? ... lets keep it simple. First...

Our thread had been open 4 days -- 300 posts

At our current average of 75 posts a day
Approximately 576 days until we repossess
That would create us 43,200 posts.

So - if our thread has been up for 8 days and 22 hours... (8.917 days)
and produced 1200 postings...
then this is a daily average of 134.57 posts ...
and with 576 days since the threads' beginning I can estimate our current pace will accumulate 77,512postings.

Slightly MORE than what I predicted earlier, 70,000.

However... in order to achieve 100,000 postings by embarkation -
then I predict that we have to average 173.62 postings daily.

C'mon - lets' pick up the pace to maintain a posting pace that achieves 100,000 or more postings by embarkation?

I thought the prices were identical anywhere you are on a given day and time! It's just the 10% rebooking discount plus cabin credit that makes it different/better. NOT that they have pricing that is any different?:confused3

Thats what I am hoping for is that while I am onboard the 10% will end up being cheaper then what I pay on the 31st ...Plus maybe they will add tips and room credit like they did the Med Repos

Perhaps it is not a good idea to show them how interested we are in this cruise. Of course, at this point if I am correct we pretty much already “screwed the pooch”. :sad2:

WHEW :scared:

I just spent 2 1/2 pages hoping, nay praying, that no one had an animated smilie thingy for THAT one!

Us poor folks from the west coast don't have to think about taking a day off - not when we're waking up at 4:30AM to try to get through to the DCL res center! I've decided to handle it myself - then transfer the res to DU or a similar TA ... thought DU currently has the edge.:surfweb:

Okay we are going to have to come up with a newly banned topic list:
For starters----
1. No discussing pricing so as not to drive prices up if DCL is looking and not to scare us all out of booking----I don't know about you guys but I get chest pains reading some postings on pricing guesses.
2. No going around and around about whether a TA is better or calling direct and transferring discounts and booking onboard. Some of us who shall remain nameless and just got off of the Christmas cruise did not get an onboard booking with discount-------You guys are making me nervous when I don't think I have anything to be nervous about.(other than being stupid a few weeks ago when I could have locked into OB credit and discount)I feel like a pacing lion.

Well I cant say I feel stupid for not booking onboard cause we did , but we booked the Med Repo ...we had no Idea about doing anything in 2008 . My DW Melissa didnt want to book anymore DCL until the New Ship came out and maybe offered some different ports ...Then came the PC cruise ..OY well she and I have been wanting to do the PC repo since the first one , so we are not going to miss this cruise ...So , we have a repo in August of this year and one in August of 08 ...Hopefully the new ship will put us into 2010 ,,lol

You have just cut out the only two subjects currently that have anything to do with this cruise! Everything else is not related.

And yes was onboard in August 2006, didnt think to do a OBC blank date! Had said no more cruises!

Hazel came to pick me up after work today and guess what, it started snowing again. OK, I shouldn't complain as this is the first real snow we've had all winter, but one snow flurry to me, is one too much. I had three bad slips on the ice and snow in 2003, 2004 and 2005, causing me to have knee surgeries in 2004 and 2005, thank goodness I got through 2006 without any problem, hoping that 2007 is good to me as well!!! :rotfl:

I keep saying, "I love my job, I love my job, I love my job!!!"

Okay you made me feel better!!!I am not alone in my lost rum money. DCL is probably saying pirate: pirate: "Give nothing back"pirate: pirate:

I am sorry for taking away all the topics. How about a new topic???????????

Lets give interesting ideas of things we can find to do in Cartagena.

This led me to believe that if you want the $300 obc from DU that they'll have to book the cruise for you on or before 1/31... for all west coasters or related repos that is the only day... I guess it could count if you got your own ressie and transferred in the same day?

Oh boy---I was over at shoretrips and they don't even have Cartagena listed. I tried to pull up all tour info and I can't seem to get many interesting things to do. I wonder what DCL will put together. That may be a definite port to book a mass pirate excursion.

o.k I have a feeling trying to keep up on this thread is going to be a part-time job............no make that a full time job.:rotfl2:

justmestace: Saw the pics you posted from wedding at Castaway.:goodvibes Very nice..........Nothing special as that. Your DD is very lucky.

Thank you! ANd yes, I think all my kids are lucky.

So now you know I really broke my arm by patting myself on the back!!
:lmao:

hi Todd......

There's a slim chance that me and your Eunich friend may make this cruise...

We'll have to see on the 31st of course.....

That chance may be getting ****** by the day!!:thumbsup2

Have Devon check her e-mail later today...

Have we scared Lisa and Susan away??? :confused3

Busy afternoon here, huh???

Sorry Stace, I was such a bad boy earlier, I'm going to blame it on the snow!!! Please forgive me.

I forgive you.

But as for those OTHER TWO........

Wow...that is one tight squeeze through the Canal!! I wouldn't want to look out a porthole window at that wall!!

Thats a good one for you Ladies take your men to the Emerald shops and ask for another ring, enternity etc, most are good value but be careful where you go. The place is very colurful, the local buses pained all loud colours.

We did a tour, up a large mountain first and viewed our ship in port, I think it was a monestry, the a walking tour of the old town, then the jewel shops.

The locals come from verywhere as you leave the port, but its well organised, suggest this is a port to do DCL trips not on your own.

Loverly old town, beach average.
