I think I originaly read this somewhere on the DIS - but I have been following the advice for a few years now - ALWAYS use more than one memory card! I swap mine every couple of days - sometimes more often. It is possible for a card to get damaged/scrambled/etc, you could lose your camera or it could be stolen, and so on. Having multiple cards helps insure that you can't lose ALL your photos. I keep one card in the camera, one spare in the bag and all others at the stateroom or hotel. Since I know I will be doing this, I don't bother to spend the $$ on big memory cards - even my older 256MB ones aren't bad. My newer ones are usually 1GB just because there are a lot of good deals out there.

I don't think I have ever run into ANYONE else who has even heard of Bonnie Koloc (other than my mother). I have seen her in concert a couple times and really enjoy her voice.

Saw her in concert a bunch of time, even live at the Earl of Old Town along with a bunch of other folks. And i have an album and a CD. Let me know if you want to download the CD for you.

Graeter's is wonderful. My favorite is the mocha choc chip. There is one of their shops about 5 minutes down the road. If i am being really bad when I am there--I get a dipped waffle cone and 2 scoops

Here is a funny email I received.

Subject: Mrs. and Mr. Fenton



Mr. and Mrs. Fenton are retired. Mrs. Fenton insists that he go with
her to Wal-Mart. He gets bored with all the shopping. He prefers to get in
and get out, but Mrs. Fenton loves to browse. Here's a letter sent to her
from the store.



Dear Mrs. Fenton,

Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a
commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and may ban both of you from our stores. We have documented all incidents on our video surveillance equipment. All complaints against Mr. Fenton are listed below.

Things Mr. Bill Fenton has done while his spouse was shopping in Wal-Mart:
1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.
2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute
intervals.
3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the restrooms.
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone, 'Code3' in housewares... and watched what happened.
5. Aug 4: Went to the Service Desk and asked to put a bag of M&M's on
layaway.
6. Sept 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.
7. Sept 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other
shoppers he'd invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.
8. Sept 23: When a clerk asks if they can help him, he begins to cry and screams 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?'
9. Oct 4: Looked right into the security camera; used it as a mirror, and picked his nose.
10. Nov 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, asked the
clerk if he knows where to find the antidepressants.
11. Dec 3: Darted around the store suspiciously loudly humming the
"Misson Impossible" theme.
12. Dec 6: In the auto department, practiced his "Madonna look" using
different size funnels.
13. Dec 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browse through, yelled
"PICK ME!" "PICK ME!"
14. Dec 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he
assumes the fetal position and screams "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!!!"
And last, but not least ....
15. Dec 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door waited awhile, then
yelled very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!"

I guess I really need to start working be back later...

Crap! I just cracked off part of a molar!!! One of the tips on a tooth that has a 25+ year old filling...fortunately it doesn't hurt although my tongue seems to like toying with the new space ewwww I guess I'll hit up a dentist tomorrow (not that I'm trying to get out of training or anything )

"Well," says the pirate, "I really wasn't used to the hook yet."

Geesh! Go out for an ice cream run and I'm 10 pages behind. Caught up now. I got:

None for DW shes on nutirsystem and will probably kill me for saying it but I'm so proud of her she lost 23 lbs since Jan. 2nd

they give the time line: widening canal - then 2008 work on the locks - 2011 work on the Lake

one other thing I didn't realize - back in the 30's the US had started a project to widen - they are going to be able to use those canals that were started - for the most part.

Lisa I won't be a problem....we won't be bringing any luggage.....we'll be wearing two weeks worth of clothes on our backs.......and toothbrushes will be in my purse........I will however, have a 400 lb backpack of booze and 2 blenders, so that will take up some space

HEY this very well may explain my entire life man

I've been thinking something similar - I have cravings for nutmeg and cinnamon - along with chocolate, of course!!! So, every morning I have amocha with nutmeg and cinnamon in it. It is an attempt to get my cravings out of the way - I figure it is better than a choc. bar or cinnamom roll. ANy way. I had no idea about the nutmeg....now I feel like I may have a drug addiction!!!!
