While talking with a friend yesterday I realized that our mortgage will be paid off when we go on this cruise!!! Instead of a mortgage burning party...too bad we can't tear it up & throw it overboard.

PLEASE KNOW THAT I KNOW THAT THIS VIOLATES MARITIME LAW AND I WOULD NEVER EVER DO THIS...JUST DAY DREAMING ABOUT IT.

That is wonderful news!!!! That deserves a drink or maybe several on deck 7.

Well, time for bed. DD wants to go to school early tomorrow. Have to take her in at 6:30. She needs to meet with her Math teacher. I hate how they grade math homework. Give them 30 problems and only pick one or two to grade. So if you get one wrong you get an F. Could have all the others right but still fail. She has a new math teacher this semester. Went from an A+ to a C because of this.

I will concur that this is the dumbest system that I have ever heard of! Why would they do something like that???


I have to run and get the little one. Cold, but sunny today. No wind! Hope you don't run into too much ice out there Andy.

Congratulations! That is an accomplishment! I paid mine off a couple of years ago and the feeling is great.

My BIL recorded with Joan. She signed his band to her record label about 2 years ago and played on one of their songs. They said she is the coolest person. If you've ever seen the movie Failure to Launch, you've heard BIL's band. One of their songs is the soundtrack to the paintball scene.

Yup, a military officer and a rock star. My MIL & FIL aren't sure what happened.

Crap! I just cracked off part of a molar!!! One of the tips on a tooth that has a 25+ year old filling...fortunately it doesn't hurt although my tongue seems to like toying with the new space ewwww I guess I'll hit up a dentist tomorrow (not that I'm trying to get out of training or anything )

had that happen last year - luckily mine didn't hurt either. Now I am paranoid about it happening again and hurting this time - I found a broken tooth repair kit at Tarjay and even took it on the cruise last year, so I would be prepared!!!!

I've been thinking something similar - I have cravings for nutmeg and cinnamon - along with chocolate, of course!!! So, every morning I have amocha with nutmeg and cinnamon in it. It is an attempt to get my cravings out of the way - I figure it is better than a choc. bar or cinnamom roll. ANy way. I had no idea about the nutmeg....now I feel like I may have a drug addiction!!!!

I didn't have a tooth repair kit and pulled out a filling while on the Magic. The infirmary did have one and luckily it was only $9 But it worked out just fine until I could get to a doc.

They sell tooth repair kits? I just had an old filling crumble out the other day. I was eating a fruit chew and thought it was a bit too crunchy!
