KWYM...just noticed the difference between posts / views myself a couple of days ago...not sure what to make of it...

Haven't gotten any kind of 'site' specific spam...

I think alot of people view inorder to get info. I was a lurker for a few months. Then I saw this thread and jumped right in.

Here are my daffodils after the snow we had Friday morning.

I've only kissed one woman in 22 years... my spouse. However, we've only been married 12 years, 5 months, 6 days and 5 hours and 37 minutes. I've lost track of the seconds. <chuckles> And seriously, I don't really know how many minutes it is bu t hour thing is about right.

Here's a photo I've never posted before. It's one of the oldest digital images I have from 6.5 years ago when we were on The Rennisance R4 in Tahiti. She was carrying our oldest daughter at the time.​

This is another reason why I love Hyacinth.....the foliage looks good even after the bloom is spent. Looks like a spikey plant. I leave it until I'm ready to plant my annuals, Mother's Day weekend....Then I cut it off at the base and plant my annuals in between!

We always try to get our annuals planted before the 1st Sat in May (derby Day) so our yard looks nice for the party.

I can't imagine taking the time to stay current with this thread, and never participating. But I'm sure there are some people that are doing just that. There may also be many people just taking a peek once in a while, but not really staying current.

Man if I was here in real time I would have replied Channel 2.
MIL always does that!! She'll call us from Cleveland and say "Turn on channel 3". The whole concept of time zones and the fact that NBC is not the same channel number all over the world seems to escape her.

Must be a generation thing...DDad would do the same thing.....

I think that some people rush into marriage for the sake of being married, all their friends are doing it, etc. You and your spouse obviously had a very strong committment to each other before the piece of paper.

That they do. We went to the Chicago Auto Show a few weeks back. We were supposed to be looking for boring family sedans and I couldn't stay away from the big trucks. Not that they would fit in my garage, mind you, but still...

Why do they make garages so small? DH truck is almost too big for ours.

Pete, we have never dug up our bulbs and then replanted them? I do after a couple weeks kinda fold all of the green back .

I think your supposed to. You're supposed to leave the leaves on till they wilt. This enables the bulb to pull down all the nutrients from the leaves and store them in the bulb for next planting. Digging up the bulbs and storing them in a cool dry dark place (garage in a paper bag) gives them sort of a hybrination period so that when they are planted in the Fall they can sprout some primary roots before the winter comes. This way in the Spring they have a root system established and are able to spring right up fast.
