Yet another story I really shouldn't tell. You guys are gonna think I'm a loon. But....
The last time we bought a new washer and dryer, they told me to go buy a cord also. So I did.
Before they came to install them, my mother was visiting and she said "Maybe you better check and make sure that's the right cord". So we went into the laundry room and I plugged in the cord, which was still partially wrapped up around itself. I got the shock of my life!
DH said it was lucky I wasn't killed. It did temporarily blind me. My dad wanted to take me to the ER, but I told him there was no way in H.E. double hockey sticks I was walking into an ER and admitting how stupid I was.
Just see if I ever listen to my mother again.

The last time I did that was when I learned that it really isn't all that hard to fall overboard.

LOL! I must have 0,000 radar or something. I just got back from taking Ruby to her church activity and just posted what I'd multi-quoted earlier- and it was almost on the money for the big one!
