What kind of flower grows between your nose and your chin? Tulips!

It was a breast cancer awareness program. Here in NYC the time to plant tulips is the last week in October. You buy a certain amount of tulips and they donate money to cancer research. It's called red ribbon week. I usually plant red tulips although my favorite bulbs are dafodills.

I love all of the spring bloomers, just wished they would hang around a little longer.

Your right. The flowers fall off. You can't cut the stems or leaves off because thats what builds up the bulb for next year. Then you have to dig them up store them in the garage. I rather buy new ones each season.

How often do you have to get deliveries?

This was only our second delivery this winter first delivery was December 20th. We started off the heating season with a full tank. We really don't do too bad, we had 183 gallons delivered today. I have the thermostat set at 72 during the day and 68 overnight. Luckily, we have a small two bedroom house.

Seriously, if you took the train all the way down here for a meet, I would gladly pick you up for a meet at the RFC

My favorite are Hyacinth! If you plant them near a window....the scent will fill the room!
