Mine wasn't that much, but it was spendy for a coffeemaker. I totally rationalized it the same way. DH gets a $4 mocha a day. I drink black coffee that I brew at home. My coffeepot kicks on in the morning and start grinding the beans and I know it is safe to get out of bed about 10 minutes later!

I like your coffee maker.

It is 7 degrees, but the wind is just crazy. It's the kinda cold that as soon as you walk into it, your nostrils stick together

I have an ancestress on my mom's side that was Irish - so I'm like 1/100th% - must count for something? And everyone always says I look more Irish than Italian...

Growing up, we only knew of my grandmother's heritage and they were french. In a small Maine tourist town that attracts a mega huge lot of French-Canadians every year, when we were growing up, we never wanted to admit we were french and be confused with them. Much better to be thought of as Irish!

DH plays that on his bagpipes - always makes me cry.

Yup.... had bagpipes at my grandfather's funeral. After the final prayer, they played off down the hallway. Amazing Grace, Danny Boy and a few other Scottish Tunes. (Our family wishes we were Scottish, too!!) There were a few tears here and there, but not a dry eye in the house when the piper started playing.

I like Jen's method......

We'll all just be at our DCL DIS meet saying, "Hey Dude"!!!! to anyone that walks by wearing a lime green, I mean, white...no, no black t*****

Trust me.... I do yell across the ship "HEY DUDE!!" Have used that technique before and worked out great.

And I thought the t-***** were going to be red???

Booked three rooms at the HoJo DL view of course, we have xray vision so we don't mind the wall. We are hunkered down I feel bad for Andy, sure glad I'm retired. Bought a commercial Bunn coffee machine the other day VP17-1 The same they have at Dunkin Donuts. I spend $7 a day for coffee so this is a wise investment. It costs less than .50 to brew a pot of coffee. A huge savings plus save the cost of gas. Figured we can take another cruise with the savings. The best thing is it takes less than a minute to brew a pot. The tank holds three pots of water thats kept hot. Now it will be interesting to see if our electric bill goes up. My wife loves to wake up to the smell of fresh coffee. Total cost of coffee machine, filters, pots $373.00
It will pay for itself in about 7 weeks. Andy your welcome to stop for a cup before work, or maybe for lunch

Yes, my whole HOUSE was shaking. The wind was pretty bad while I was still DISsing late last night, but at about 3-4am it woke mee up and kept me awake until after Jimmy left for work at 6

Very windy here last night - wokes us up a couple of times it was so loud.

At one point last year when we were getting ready for our DCL - WDW trip around this time last year there was a 100 degree difference between our house and WDW.

It's warmer in Alaska than it is here!
