Booked three rooms at the HoJo DL view of course, we have xray vision so we don't mind the wall. We are hunkered down :cold: I feel bad for Andy, sure glad I'm retired. :happytv: Bought a commercial Bunn coffee machine the other day VP17-1 The same they have at Dunkin Donuts. I spend $7 a day for coffee so this is a wise investment. It costs less than .50 to brew a pot of coffee. A huge savings plus save the cost of gas. Figured we can take another cruise with the savings. The best thing is it takes less than a minute to brew a pot. The tank holds three pots of water thats kept hot. Now it will be interesting to see if our electric bill goes up. My wife loves to wake up to the smell of fresh coffee. Total cost of coffee machine, filters, pots $373.00
It will pay for itself in about 7 weeks. :cool1: Andy your welcome to stop for a cup before work, or maybe for lunch :moped:

Thanks John!!! But does the machine make hot chocolate, I can't stand the taste of coffee, I love the smell, just can't handle the taste of it.

I can't wait until the day I am retired from my job, came home from work today and took a long nice nap after dinner.

I was thinking of you while reading the newspaper and saw that the Colonial Diner was celebrating their 30th anniversary with the current owners.

So I'm still having a hard time keeping up with this group. What is this about another group and discounts on pre-cruise stay? We're coming from the east so would need to come in a day or two before. Any and all help appreciated.

Hi there -- many people are calling the Howard Johnson right across Harbor Blvd. from DL (an easy walk) and reserving rooms at a pre-cruise rate that is very low. The number is on page 1 of this thread and just tell them you are going on a Disney Magic cruise and learned about these group rates on the Disboards. Good luck!!!

'Evening Folks :surfweb:

Mine wasn't that much, but it was spendy for a coffeemaker. I totally rationalized it the same way. DH gets a $4 mocha a day. I drink black coffee that I brew at home. My coffeepot kicks on in the morning and start grinding the beans and I know it is safe to get out of bed about 10 minutes later!

It is 7 degrees, but the wind is just crazy. It's the kinda cold that as soon as you walk into it, your nostrils stick together

Hey Pete,

I just put in for vacation April 2-9. I'm hoping we can make it to Florida during that week. Hazel has been having some trouble with her IBS acting up again for the past two weeks. We will have to wait and see how she is doing by the end of this month, as we would have to drive down for this trip south.

Time to head out into the :cold: :cold: :cold: frozen tundra again. I have all OUTSIDE meters to read today, so no getting into any warm homes, I will be keeping my work car close by however!!! :thumbsup2

Sounds good! Hope you, little hey hey and family can make it. Let us know when you make your final decision. Stay warm!

Pete

At one point last year when we were getting ready for our DCL - WDW trip around this time last year there was a 100 degree difference between our house and WDW.
