8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC Part 8

Very cool! We didn't see any Dream Teams when we were there the week before you.

The funny thing was that we got them around 9:20 in the morning on an early entry day. DH had missed out on them with DD on Dumbo a little before this. We already had a couple FPs in our pockets to use...and did end up using them before the end of the day. Between those, the Dream FPs and short lines we were on a ride most of the day. It was amazing!

ketchup 1st car was a 1969 Chevy nova burnt orange by the time I had to retire it I went through all the front fenders the junk yard had that would fit it. DW and I met in college in 1976 after I got out of the Navy.

I got out of the Navy in 1975 to go to UNC (already married 3 years). Spent almost 4 years on an aircraft carrier.

First car was a 1962 Ford Falcon. It was a bright red convertible with an inline 6 cylinder engine.

I was JK! I did post that as the answer when I saw you online & I was 50 pages behind...or at least it seemed that way. You did disappear soon after but I didn't know that you hadn't come back. We miss ya around here.

Hey Stacey, you are in good company, my mom's birthday is also March 18th, but she has a few years on you, she will be 71 this year.

I got this far and almost had a heart attack. I thought you were going to say we were the same age.

My father in law (now deceased) shared my birthday, and so does a friend of ours who we met when they were our very first dinner partners on our first DCL cruise!

DW is a Sudoku maniac!! She realized those booklets would quickly add up so she bought an electronic Sudoku game for $15 at WM...

Ahhhhh! I hate that movie! My 19 yo cousin made us all watch it last summer because it was "funny" - the only one who laughed beside her was my son - now he does a bunch of Napoleon Dynamite stuff. Finally got him to stop with the darn "yes".

DW is a Sudoku maniac!! She realized those booklets would quickly add up so she bought an electronic Sudoku game for $15 at WM...

We have investigated several handhelds for Sudoku. My problems are most of them don't allow for tick marks....where you can jot down the possible answers for each square. The only handheld one that has that feature is the Nintendo DS Brain Age game. It is VERY cool....except my sons never let me play theirs. When you get to most Hard puzzles, tick marks are essential. I used to read two or three books a week a year or so ago. I now do Sudoku puzzles instead. I keep a booklet in my purse at all times. I also have one by the toilet (TMI) and next to my bed. I've spent a five hour flight (New York to Seattle or Hawaii to Seattle) just doing Sudoku puzzles. My husband and I get the same booklet and we race to see who can finish the same puzzle fastest (and get it right). I win most of the time. Not that I'm competitive or anything....

My only requirement for the booklets....they must be printed on quality paper since I do so much scribbling on the pages and erase a lot (once I eliminate possibilities). Penciling and erasing on newsprint-type paper feels like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

I was on the USS Sanctuary AH17 most of my 4 years . even went throught the Panama Canal on her which is why im really loooking forward to this cruise. going to see the "Parrots of the Caribbean" tribute band to Jimmy Buffett this Saturday. meet me in margaritaville "Jimmy Buffett"

I would sometimes go to crops with my sister. She's the "just slap it on there" type of scrapper. I agonize over matching background paper with borders and embelishments, etc....In a 6 hour stint she would complete like 15 pages. I may have 2 done. She would ask me "Can't you do anything half-add?"

I am closer to you as far as scrap strategy. I start out with a written plan, then use post its to mark the pages, then slide the pictures in the right page & go from there.

Thanks for sharing....I noticed a spa near me carries the products...I may look into them when I need to repurchase. Why do you like this line better than BE?

HI - just got back from taking Annie to the dog park & a stop at the grocery store.
To me these products seem to be a next step evolution of mineral make-up. We use both the powder and she has a liquid mineral make-up that is exquisite. In fact, my dermatologist recommended this line over Jane Iredale and doesn't recommend BE because of the inclusion of ingredients that may irritate the skin. If you get a chance to sample the liquid mineral I think you'll be hooked as we are!
