You know, while I'm confessing here, I have to admit that on occasion I wear a sweatshirt or jacket in August in So California!!!! And sometimes they are even black!!!!

You made me figure it out and when I am 49 the kids will be 15 & 17.

Now I had to figure it out too. When I'm 49 DS will be 20 and DD will be 14.

Several years ago I was wearing a winter jacket on the 4th of July - it was like 40 and raining = freezing.

But I too belong to the wears black year round and have the pale look of the undead - I haven't had a tan in about 20 years.

I think in general boys are more cuddly with their moms than girls. Same is true for us, my sister, and many of our friends.....

Ds will come up and give me a kiss and hug for no reason all of the time. Dd doesn't ever do that. She will really only cuddle early in the morning or at bed time. I want to just grab her and kiss and hug her during the day, and she gets annoyed. I told her the other day that I love her sooooo much and it just gets all "bottled up" inside of me, and I need to let it out. She told me I need to get a bigger bottle!

it is a psycholigical thing Freud to be exact children are often more attached to the parent of the opposite sex (im unfourtunly taking developmental psych this semester very boring we just happen to go over that today)

It can get quite chilly in CA in the summer, especially near the beach. June can be downright gloomy and I can't rememember the last July 4th that I watched fireworks without wearing a jacket. August is generally warmer, but it is still often cool by the ocean and definitely cool out on a boat. If you live in the deserts or more interior areas of So. Cal it does get a lot hotter, but since we'll be on the ocean I think we'll all survive in black, short sleeved t-shirts. I'm sure DCL will have medics on hand just in case!

Youuuuuu got it! And guess what color his current cars are?

One is silver....the other is gunmetal.......

My families criteria for choosing a color for a car? It has to go with the Ohio State license plate cover.

Good Morning Everyone
My first car.........boring will tell story about getting my driver's license.
*Warning* don't be drinking anything while reading this or it may come out your nose. I tried to get my license in NY and failed. I moved to PA and had to wait 6 months to become a resident and took the test and failed. I moved to Boston again waited 6 months and the tester at the end of the test asked me do you have a car? I said no I will be taking the subway. He asked me if I will always wear my seatbelt? I said yes. He said I passed. So at 21 I got my driver's license and it was about 2 years after that I moved back to NY and got my first used piece of junker.

got mine at 17 on my bday i could not wait
