wow......some of the stories are just...i don't even know what to say!

the scissors lady take the cake..but poor buckifan too! wow!

you're bringing some old memories of parenting tribulations.

* just a lil'story from last week...was returning somthing back to
wally w., and there was a lady in front of me with her appox. 2 year
daughter. she was distracted when her daughter stated, "got to go
to the bathroom mommie" [something to that effect]...and off she went
[spunky lil' girl...] the mother had not heard her or was aware she was
marching down the store...i interputed her, saying..ma'm if that your
daughter walking off ?, she stated she got to go to the bathroom...yep!,
that was her daughter...ands she didn't realized what she was doing....
she was very grateful. i told her no problem..i used to remember how my
kids would try to wonder off...all i could think of ...this lil'girl was cute as
the dickens...and knew she had to go...so that meant going to the closest
bathroom....i hope others help others by keeping an look out for
dangerous situation is a good things.

also :thumbsup2 for those picking up on potential dangers..i got to
admitt, i would not allowed a 14 y/o play with 5-6 y/o..something is
out of place...

Hey Crew, I'm back! What'd I miss over the last week? Wait - I know - just go read the summaries... :rotfl2:

Many thanks to Enna for covering for me during my absence.

And without further ado, here is the Pirate Joke of the day. This one is in honor of the day we all (or most of us) got our cabins. (Sure hope Enna didn't use this one already...)
...

Welcome back!!! :) That was good reading the second time around as well. I think that Todd told that one before 1/31...which is why if you read back thru that morning's posts you will see several asking for their brown pants. ;) :lmao:

:sad2: the NERVE ... remind me not to mention that I took my youngest to the World for a week when he was only 8 weeks old. :scared1: He's 7 now and that was the EASIEST we have ever had it with that child on vacation :rotfl2:

My DS went to WDW at 20 months, DD 2 years old ( her birthday)

You know, I've had people fawn over DS as an infant because he was (is ;)) a beautiful boy...can't tell you the number of times we've heard: "Ohhhhhh she is sooooo pretty!" :headache:

Oh yes - we would get that also. Usually when HE was dressed in blue with pctures of trucks or something on it! :rotfl: OK - maybe I'd dress a girl that way, but I know if I saw a child dressed like that I wouldn't be comfortable assuming it was a girl....

pdarrah (Pamela)

bbb, i agreed :thumbsup2 , i don't want to hurt others feelings,
but i think ,this site & pirate: should only be those goings...

* oh, not because the wenches are getting them all...or
me having green eyes...:rolleyes1

does anyone here get "oars and ears"? a publication exclusively
for ha cast and crew of disney cruise line...i have some of the old
ones :rolleyes1 '99, but no current ..it has good info on what going
on! :teacher:

My wife lost our DS10 on the last cruise (the same one who got lost at Disney World). He got on an elevator and my wife and other son got on a different elevator b/c DS10 was not paying attention. My wife went to Oceaneer's Club, where they were going to pickup my daughter, hoping that DS10 had figured it out and gone there after he was not waiting by the elevators.

I was in our stateroom packing and heard a knock on the door. DS10 asked me if Mom was there. I said 'you're supposed to be with her' and he told me the story and I marched him down to the OC to hook up. My wife had been hoping he was smart enough to head to the rooms.

DH let DS8 go back to the dining room when he realized that he had forgotten his toy DCL bus on the table thinking that I would still be there. I was but a few tables away talking to someone else. I had already picked up the bus & put it in my bag. DS couldn't find DH in the shop where he had left him so he went to the theater where he knew we were going & went to the front where we have always sat with our friends. He found PJ there & sat with her to wait for us. Of course I was ready to go to GS to alert them when DH walked up to me in the atrium asking if I had seen DS. :sad2:

I believe Rob & Amber are going to be targeted. Either hit with a yield or get paired up with some other team at an intersection and it will blow their game.

I am betting on Eric & Danielle simply because they are going to slip through as the team no one considers a threat.

They were targeted last time too but stayed out front away from everyone.

Took you long enough. :stir:

Seriously, I wish you had said you just didn't know how. I thought you meant your system wouldn't let you BCC.

:confused3 I thought that was what I said or asked if anyone knew how to. ;) Guess it got lost in the posts. :rotfl2: It's so simple I have to laugh at it. IDK why they don't just have it show up as an option when you open a new email.

Actually New york is a big Island full of nice people, loved it when I was there!

Thank you Andrew -- you already know how I feel about London, and my oldest daughter is a huge Anglophile. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up living in the UK one day.

If you're using Outlook, there is a way to make the BCC field show up whenever you open a new mail message/reply to message. I can't think of how to get to that setting off the top of my head, but I know I have it set that way.

....in response to all tis baby talk...our first , was/is the most beautiful
baby one can imagined!...not kidding, we go out and draw a crowd!
:lmao: , now he is 6'5''..230 lbs...but he still has his baby face...boy
that gets him  !

* oh,, our lil'over-done lil'stinker......when he was 6mos, we did a
series of sailor pics [ I was in the navy then ]....but they did so
many, we did not get half of them...3 months later, we go into
the store...& they blown them up into poster size , using them in
their baby department.... , went and found the photographer,
he proclaimed the most beautiful baby pics ever!..and that's when
we learned they owned the rights?! [ here's a kicker...we used an
adult sailor cap..for those pics....not saying, wow! or anything..

* our first one ruint us..he was not only beautiful , but the
prefect baby..you could sit him down , and he'll stayed right there.
slept all night...cried very lil'..ahhhhhhh, this baby stuff is
easy..then came our second...:rolleyes1 , let say, the robin egg
wasn't the first adventure he gave us! he was the very ood reason
why we decided no more, !

:scared1: , i think we disilliusioned him..all these years, he has been
under the notion , "we" had the privileged of him chosing us! :snooty:

well someday.. he 'll get his!...all he thinks about are girls and cars
and more girls....maube i should warn him? :rolleyes1

Do you read Stephen King??? I like Dean Koontz too.:thumbsup2 The Cell by King is the way he used to write. I am enjoying it. My DH:rotfl2: takes the easy way out and gets them on CD.

Stephen King is one of my all time favorite authors!!! The Dark Tower rules!!!:thumbsup2

Okay, this is a much more managable pace. I don't know how you folks have kept up with this thread, I just couldn't do it. But it seems to have slowed down considerably so I'll try to be around more.

Hi folks, I'm back. I was away for business last week ... and then actually had to work now that I'm back in the office ;) I've read the summaries and am trying to read "live" stuff too.

Today's life drama will include explaining to my youngest DS that the hamster we brought home on Saturday was ill and did not make it through the night :sad2:

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

So, why are people WLE??? Yes, I know what WLE is, I'm just curious why they haven't been moved. I booked with a late dinner seating - just wanted to get the whole process over and done with. Once we seriously talked about it, we wanted to change to early dinner. After finding the thread and seeing WLE for so many, I figured I had no chance but when I asked, they changed me right away, no problems. Maybe it has to do with the size of our group??? :confused3 Just found it weird. Especially when I knew there were others who were waiting for early.

Usually people don't get switched if they are WLE until a month or so before the cruise.

Lisa was that the night you were looking for him on the 12/9 cruise?
