Goodnight everyone! I am wiped out. I found out tonight that we are just starting our battle with the school...but at least they are taking us seriously & put the principal on notice. They want the parents to form a task force/committee to compile how we want communication to be handled in the future regarding the problems that we cited. I don't look forward to dealing with her but feel that I need to follow thru with this...if not for my kids, for those who will be there. No child should have to deal with some of these things. My primary concern had her being ripped apart by the superintendent.

I hope your husband's surgery goes well. I have no idea what it's like to have a husband that doesn't tell me about things like surgeries (because um, I'd be the one having to tell him, remind him, make sure he's there, etc. etc.) but I DO have a husband that occasionally swears up and down he told me something when I'm the one with the good memory (and he isn't) and by gosh I know he didn't tell me! LOL Hate that so much...

He told me yesterday evening that his MIL was taking him and bringing him home. I was like from where????? I knew he had been seeing the dr. and that he was going to have surgery--but I know he never told me when.

I mean honestly, who is going to forget their DH is having sugery.

I know exactly what you mean. Anytime DH tries to tell me he "told me something" it's always something I know darn well I would not forget if he'd really told me.

Alan DH is having knee surgery tomorrow. I found out yesterday--he swears he told me a couple of weeks ago. I am sure that everything will be fine--but I really don't think he told me............maybe he did while I was trying desperately to catch up on this thread. It really made me feel bad.

Hope that everything goes well tomorrow and that we all thinking and praying for his speedy recovery.

I just received some bad news. A dear DCL CM that checked us in for our first cruise back in August 2003 is in ICU and not doing very well from what I was told a short while ago. This is a very dear sweet lady who my family has grown very fond of the past few years. I have attached a photo of Tanya below, could you please say some extra prayers and send for Tanya and her DH at this most difficult time. Thanks so much!!!
