With the yahoo group it wouldn't be necessary for anyone that has access to the site to have access to your email. As such, I have had to change my email address because the one I gave is not one I want TONS of people to know- it is a private one that I wish to not have spam/etc. and I don't want to have to change it again. So I had to change my email address, for the list, to one I rarely check.


I always use TT -and I love not having to pay so much for my taxes to be done! I usually get the refund deposited within 2wks- this time it was only 11 days (including weekends).





Okay where are y'all finding these? I saw other posts saying they went and bought it too. I searched 5 pocket wall organizer and every other combination with less words/etc. and can't find those. I even looked thru all the pages of ended auctions and still couldn't find it! I get ZERO matches when I search for 5 pocket wall organizer even in closed auctions. I get lots of matches for other variations (pocket wall organizer, pocket organizer, wall organizer, disney organizer, disney wall organizer, mickey/minnie/etc. etc. all kidns of variations of the words- but those don't come up for me, even in closed auctions. Can someone PM me the # of the auctions so I can find them please?

I got Jeff into a dr appt today... he had to leave work a little early to get the appt but it was the only way to get him in without waiting weeks for a later appt. He saw a different dr this time- not the usual one... his new partner there apparently. She said she thinks it's bursitis and gave him a shot. But she gave it to him in the hip when I have since read online that it's best to give the shot directly in the bursa of the affected joint for immediate relief (and often all that is necessary). I'm not sure why she gave it in the hip but hours later he was still in pain. He also has Rx's for vicodin to take a night to help him sleep without so much pain. He'll have to make his employer aware otherwise he'd get fired if they did a drug test for any reason. Also she gave him Rx for medrol, to help with inflammation. From what I have read online she gave him a very low dose though- so we'll see if it works.The side effects are kinda scary though- all this stuff about mood swings, depression, psychotic behavior, etc. Like my bipolar manic-depressive husband needs meds that have THOSE side effects? But let's hope (and pray) that it works....
She didn't even refer him to a specialist or order any xrays or MRI's or anything- just diagnosed him as having bursitis. From what I'm reading online it can sometimes be mistaken for what really is a rotary cup injury. I hope she's right. This is why I hate allowing Jeff to go to appts by himself. LOL He just goes along with whatever the dr says... I would have said how are you SURE this is bursitis and insisted on tests done. But I didn't want to go up there and babysit him at the appt with the kids and all... thanks for the prayers.

Actually I just cracked a chest 2 days ago and he lived. Cardiac tamponade.

BP 60 chest closed, BP 120/80 chest opened

Thank you for not going into the details like my brother did during Thanksgiving when he worked as an EMT. Course, when he moved on to being a firefighter he didn't let us down made sure to tell everyone at Easter what he found roasting in someone's oven at a fire. Meow.

Correct! Very warped. Humor always helped me cope at work. Some nurses can't do a code with me because they laugh too much.

OMG we would laugh over the most non funny situations......It really seems cruel to anyone you tell but it is truly a coping mechanism.....You just have to keep your sense of humor or you crack......especially when dealing with all the heartbreaking things like SIDS, suicides, arrests, ......

meant to tell you last night. i love the photo in your sig. you have a beautiful family. we've always meant to take one of those but my pre-teen dd had developed a phobia of having her picture taken.

Hate the "my thumb hurts and it suddenly became so important at 10 pm on a Friday night...."

It was kinda funny because I was at all times a working manager. Always on the floor never in an office. Each one of my coworkers and I had our loves and it always seemed to work out really well. Some hated the trauma and cardiac, some loved gyn, some loved the suturing, some loved the frequent flyers, some triage,........Guess where I always was.....of course.....the trauma room......

I guess it's the same all over the states, never liked working Mondays because it's always busy. Fri, Sat nights busy. Then you have a different population come in after 11pm.

Now if she used my middle name as my first name I wouldn't have a problem with it...today - when I was a kid I would of committed matricide!

I will NEVER let DD get her hair braided. That is too painful. They have information in the first day's navigator about where to sign up for an appointment on the ship though.

I had my hair, only the front part braided at VB before our last cruise. I took most of it that evening and the rest the next day. It was so tight that it really hurt.
