Jumping in before the PMS discussion gets out of control!!!

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to the group. Really haven't been back since our 2/3 cruise--had to jump back into life (work, hockey games/coaching, school, etc.) and haven't had much time for the DIS. I don't know how you all do it. We are also still GTY 6. Guessing that it will stay that way for awhile but it bothers my DW much more than I.

Maybe I can hang around long enough to see 30,000 today sometime. I am more of a lurker than a poster but it is hard to keep up lurking on this thread!!

Wishing warm thoughts for all of you and that those sniffles and colds clear up.

And I'm sick. I've tried to deny it for 2 days, but I'm sick. Achy, stuffy, hacky oh-my-god-is-it-possible-to-actually-die-of-a-cold SICK!

Take some Nyquil -- the sniffling, sneezing, coughing, stuffy head, fever, how the heck did I wind up sleeping on the kitchen floor medicine.

I am going to share with you "Coral's Magical Cure for the Common Cold"!
Now this has worked on every person I have ever told and followed it.
To back up my claims, my elementary aged kids go to school in a totally germ infested school every day. For 5 years they have NEVER missed a day or been sent home due to being sick. I have not had a sick day in 15 years of working in a busy germ filled office (started working at home in late Dec.).
Ok, the hype built up enough?........
Zinc! The cheaper the better. I buy the Wal-Mart or Target brand. They are "cherry" flavored lozenges. The key is to suck on them until they are gone, can't chew or cheat.
If you start taking them when you 1st feel the cold coming on it will probably keep you from ever getting one. This has worked every time on me, my 7yoDD and 10 yo DD for years.
Also, when we travel anywhere we will start on them a day or so ahead to build up our ammunity. Works every time for us!

You guys gave me a nightmare last night!!!!! All this talk about people not knowing their staterooms did it. We got the final bill notice and the cost of the cruise had gone up from 8200 to 9800!!! I called DCL so upset & they told me that they made a mistake before & since I was assigned a room when I booked the cruise instead of GTY I should have been charged more.

I am always behind as usual. This back and forth is making me dizzer than I am already!!!! I hate to interrupt the conversation but I wanted to know this.

I just saw this post. Can DCL change the amount of money because you were actually assigned a number instead of a GTY. I thought once a price was quoted, you are locked in???

YEAH!!! You wont be the only one with a Christmas stocking on the cruise then. We will, DH Chrisva has one, Todd, Brack.

Oh, cool! I didn't want to go buy something else and I do want goodies. (Getting cards and trinkets every day was a highlight of the cruise for DD4. She'd come back to the room and want to check the stocking).

but if I let the voodoo doll (toolong to type.....must shorten from this point forward to VDD) enjoy the chocolate maybe you would get the euphoria without breaking the lenten promise.....
