ever been! * maybe just a lil better than chrismas am,

yep..no room assignments for us...iam begining to understand
why mobey dickey paces, back and forth- mumbling to himself...,
catching the big one {rooms} is nerve wracking.

* lisa ....that's dosen't seem right at all ! so they're
trying to charged an enmorous fee just for a room assignment
upfront ? , i can see this now..well we run out of
rooms..but we do have an "awful-$$$$$" good deal on an upgrade.

this looks an awful lot like being a shyster! and i do mean awful!

..we're gty..for 2 rooms...now, i can wish i haven't made
the wise cracks about the broom closet...

this is making me into a superstitious ! maybe they're hired
a witch dr., using our unpurchased shutters pics into minature pin
cushions? [they seem very good at sticking it to us]

I started coming down with an annoying cold the other night. I usually never take medicine unless it is REALLY bad, but DH talked me into taking Sudafed. Well, yesterday my mother came over to drop off a card to DD and asked me what was on my neck. I looked in the mirror and I was getting some kind of rash and welts. It progressively got worse as the day wore on, spreading to my chest and arms. Now it has moved to my stomach and has been more itchy. I am assuming it is from the Sudafed! BTW, he hasn't brought me the Benadryll home yet.

You guys gave me a nightmare last night!!!!! All this talk about people not knowing their staterooms did it. We got the final bill notice and the cost of the cruise had gone up from 8200 to 9800!!! I called DCL so upset & they told me that they made a mistake before & since I was assigned a room when I booked the cruise instead of GTY I should have been charged more.

oh well...

gotta go for the day now...

my spouse is landing at LAX tonight and I have a few minor things to do before she gets home! I may TRY to lurk for the 30,000th if I'm near web access... TTFN!​

Awwww but it was so cute! Maybe if you put it back, the tag fairy will color it for you? I was so darn excited yesterday I almost pooped a brick! I was embarrassed to be so darn excited, but it came out of the blue & Judy said that's how it would happen. Just keep posting & I'm sure the tag fairy will revisit!

... and still wondering whether I should have taken my kids to the doc yesterday or not... plus I was going to see a doc myself as I feel like I'm coming down with something.

I really hate getting sick... I used to NEVER get sick year after year... now it's a once or twice a year thing it seems...

Just to spark a little conversation here......who out of the ones who have room numbers requested specific roomnumbers and who just happened to be given a room number......you get what I mean.......I thought perhaps you had to have requested specifically to get a number.......

My example:
We had just stayed in those rooms that we got and when we booked I asked for those 3 rooms specifically......we got them.

Judy I put in a specific stateroom on the website & got it. I was wondering the same thing.

OK, I sent my SM email. That sounds like a ton of fun.
We had these when I worked at the office (I now work from home) and they were so much fun.
The 1st year I worked at my company I was recently out of college and had no clue what a Secret Santa was. I erred on the side of caution and bought really nice gifts slightly over the limit to make a good impression. What did I get in return? A small bottle of diet grapefruit breath spray. Spray it in your mouth and you will be too disgusted to eat all day. I was so hurt. I did not get the gag part of the gift. 15 years later I had the same guys SS and got the most hideous Christmas ornament you have ever seen (think disgusting frog w/ tons of warts on it - how is this Christmas?), a puzzle 2 million pieces that are a millimeter big, and an Ove Glove. Now this person knows me very well. We have traveled leisurely together and he is my "work husband" (WH). My own DH is fine since my WH since WH is gay.
Sure hoping this SM turns out a whole lot better!

Well it sounds like you DID get the "GAG" part of the gift.

And if you still have it, can you share. Might save another bag of Hershey's Kisses from an early doom.

yes, but he plays blah, blah, blah rugby all the time and so would be in shape for it. Sounds like some of the other guys are used to doing 16oz. curls for their workout (like me, which is why I, like Enna, am not volunteering to be a hooker or any other position).

I didn't ask -- as a matter of fact, when my TA told me on Jan. 31 that I was cat 6 GTY I decided not to worry about a room assignment-- I was on the ship and had a verandah. Then when she went to pay the deposit the next day (after I authorized the reservation and told her to go ahead) she told me that it showed room 6050, and that she had stayed in that room before and it was a good location. Just luck.

I still think that others will start getting room assignments before the 90 day window -- DCL just was not prepared for the volume of interest they had and things will shake out over time. And perhaps the upgrade fairy will visit those who were patient enough to put up with the wait?

I see a lot of people talking about room assignments. Does this mean some people got them today??
