Well then, as co-owners of Shutters I have one thing to say to both of you...

lower your prices please!!! :goodvibes :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry, but the individual vendors are bound by corporate policy and not able to comply with your demand.

Yes it was awesome!!!!Haven't sat and watched it in years.....just not funny anymore......

I am (dating myself) a Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner, Lorraine Newman, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray......fan. That used to be my idea of a great Saturday night.....

I also really liked SCTV. on FRidays.......

Dh and I were talking about the Chris Farley Show skit the other day.......LOA's off......

We found a script online from when he interviewed Paul McCartney.....

Chris Farley: Um, hi. Welcome to The Chris Farley Show. I'm.. Chris Farley.. and, my guest tonight is.. one of the.. greatest musicians.. uh, rock musicians. I guess, songwriter, ever. [ Smacks himself ] GOD! That sounds stupid! God, I'm an idiot! I never know how to start these things!

Paul McCartney: You're doing great, Chris.

Chris Farley: [ hopeful ] Really? No, I'm not. [ hyperventilating ] Anyway.. I guess.. I didn't have, have to say, who you were, because.. man, I mean.. everyone knows who you are. Mmm.. you're Paul McCartney.

Paul McCartney: Well, it's great to be here.

Chris Farley: [ uncomfortable ] You.. you.. you remember when you were with The Beatles?

Paul McCartney: Yeah, sure.

Chris Farley: That was awesome!

Paul McCartney: Yeah, it was.

Chris Farley: O-kay.. Oh! You.. you remember when you went to Japan.. and, uh, and at the airport they arrested you 'cause you had some pot, and.. it made all the papers, and everything..?

Paul McCartney: Well, to be honest, Chris, I'd kind of like to forget all of that.

Chris Farley: [ smacks himself harder ] IDIOT!! That's so stupid! What a dumb question!!

Paul McCartney: No, no, no, Chris. I get asked that all the time in interviews. Maria Shriver asked the same question last week.

Chris Farley: Really? [ pause ] Did you know that she's married to Arnold Schwartzenegger?

Paul McCartney: Yeah. I've heard that.

Chris Farley: Did you see "Terminator"?

Paul McCartney: No, I missed that one.

Chris Farley: That was a pretty awesome flick. [ pause ] O-kay.. remember.. you remember when you were with The Beatles, and you were supposed to be dead, and, uh, there was all these clues, that, like, uh, you played some song backwards, and it'd say, like, "Paul Is Dead", and, uh, everyone thought that you were dead? That was, um, a hoax, right?

Paul McCartney: Yeah. I wasn't really dead.

Chris Farley: Right. I think we.. I think we got time for one more question. Uh.. remember when you were in The Beatles? And, um, you did that album Abbey Road, and at the very end of the song, it would.. the song goes, "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make"? You.. you remember that?

Paul McCartney: Yes.

Chris Farley: Uh.. is that true?

Paul McCartney: Yes, Chris. In my experience, it is. I find, the more you give, the more you get.

Chris Farley [ ecstatic, starts to point at Paul and mouth "AWESOME!" ] Well, that's it for this week's show. Thank you, Paul McCartney, thank you, for being one of the greatest.. of rock.. I mean, a living legend. And uh, a legend of rock and roll.. and.. just thanks for being on the show, and.. [ smacks himself even harder ] GOD DANGIT! That sounded stupid! I knew I'd screw up!

Paul McCartney: You did fine, you did fine, Chris.

Chris Farley: Really? Thanks, man. Thanks. Thank you. [ Outro music comes on, Chris continues to talk to Paul ] Remember.. remember when I was talking to you about "The Terminator"? You.. you should see that movie, it's pretty cool..

[ Paul nods his head ]

OK, I sent my SM email. That sounds like a ton of fun.
We had these when I worked at the office (I now work from home) and they were so much fun.
The 1st year I worked at my company I was recently out of college and had no clue what a Secret Santa was. I erred on the side of caution and bought really nice gifts slightly over the limit to make a good impression. What did I get in return? A small bottle of diet grapefruit breath spray. Spray it in your mouth and you will be too disgusted to eat all day. I was so hurt. I did not get the gag part of the gift. 15 years later I had the same guys SS and got the most hideous Christmas ornament you have ever seen (think disgusting frog w/ tons of warts on it - how is this Christmas?), a puzzle 2 million pieces that are a millimeter big, and an Ove Glove. Now this person knows me very well. We have traveled leisurely together and he is my "work husband" (WH). My own DH is fine since my WH since WH is gay.
Sure hoping this SM turns out a whole lot better! :cool1:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You guys gave me a nightmare last night!!!!! All this talk about people not knowing their staterooms did it. ;) We got the final bill notice and the cost of the cruise had gone up from 8200 to 9800!!!:scared: I called DCL so upset & they told me that they made a mistake before & since I was assigned a room when I booked the cruise instead of GTY I should have been charged more. :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Sorry Lisa, but... :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

I thought your tag was fun. I think since you're a black belt, it looked GREAT in black. The tag fairy often leaves people's personal tags and then adds a little color. (Lisa's is an example, as is DarthRugby's, and of course...mine).

Hopefully, you'll get a tag soon, but please it isn't desperate & silly to add your own. That space is yours do with as you please until the tag fairy decides otherwise. :grouphug:

Thanks Enna. I guess I'm just starting to get that same feeling like back in PE when teams were being picked and it feels like I'm going to be the last one standing there looking pathetic. Isn't strange how even though I consider myself a happy, successful, well-adjusted adult, it takes something like this to take me right back to high school. Anyway, I appreciate your thoughfulness!

:yay: ..to the new tags, wow this is the taggiest place i
ever been! * maybe just a lil better than chrismas am,
more like getting what you wanted, under the tree :santa:

:thumbsup2 to yargrnhoj's 1,000..she's a regular veteran!
[are you going to set up an advice column now? :rotfl: ]

yep..no room assignments for us...iam begining to understand
why mobey dickey paces, back and forth- mumbling to himself...,
catching the big one {rooms} is nerve wracking. :headache:

* lisa ....that's dosen't seem right at all :scared1: ! so they're
trying to charged an enmorous fee just for a room assignment
upfront ? :scared: , i can see this now..well we run out of
rooms..but we do have an "awful-$$$$$" good deal on an upgrade.
:faint:
this looks an awful lot like being a shyster! and i do mean awful!

:scared: ..we're gty..for 2 rooms...now, i can wish i haven't made
the wise cracks about the broom closet...

this is making me into a superstitious :yo-yo: ! maybe they're hired
a witch dr., using our unpurchased shutters pics into minature pin
cushions? [they seem very good at sticking it to us] :sad2:

A premium upcharge........

Just to spark a little conversation here......who out of the ones who have room numbers requested specific roomnumbers and who just happened to be given a room number......you get what I mean.......I thought perhaps you had to have requested specifically to get a number.......

My example:
We had just stayed in those rooms that we got and when we booked I asked for those 3 rooms specifically......we got them.

Same here, I gave my TA a list of room numbers and she was able to get what we wanted. Then for my parents room, we just wanted one across the hall in a Cat 8 (we're Cat 11). They got one across the hall but a few doors down.

Mornin' from Alaska. High 13 - Low -3

And I'm sick. I've tried to deny it for 2 days, but I'm sick. Achy, stuffy, hacky oh-my-god-is-it-possible-to-actually-die-of-a-cold SICK!

NNNNOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!
We have a room too. In the sea-going-public-relations-ninja wing. Boy, karatemom, we really do have a lot in common!

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Hope you feel better soon!

I started coming down with an annoying cold the other night. I usually never take medicine unless it is REALLY bad, but DH talked me into taking Sudafed. Well, yesterday my mother came over to drop off a card to DD and asked me what was on my neck. :confused3 I looked in the mirror and I was getting some kind of rash and welts. It progressively got worse as the day wore on, spreading to my chest and arms. Now it has moved to my stomach and has been more itchy. I am assuming it is from the Sudafed! BTW, he hasn't brought me the Benadryll home yet.:headache:

:grouphug: I know exactly how you feel, because I was feeling the same way. :grouphug:

 Let's do a little dance to see if we can lure the Tag Fairy your way. :wizard:
:dance3: :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2:

Dear Tag Fairy,

I'd gladly give you my tag AND my Godiva Dark Chocolate Mocha Latte if you could give my DIS buddy a tag.

Sincerely,

Enna

YEAH!!! You wont be the only one with a Christmas stocking on the cruise then. We will, DH Chrisva has one, Todd, Brack. :thumbsup2

Just keep leaving me out Lisa... :sad2: I wonder if you know something I don't!

That's it!...

... I'm going to a lodal Crocs seller and I'm gonna measure / compare against a couple of shoes from my kids to determine the correct size I need... that way - assuming sizes are left - I can order some today.

:thumbsup2

Also on the Crocs website is a sheet that you can print out, then you step on it to measure your foot. Where your toe lands will tell you what size to get.

But of course, nothing like trying on the real thing.

Thanks Enna. I guess I'm just starting to get that same feeling like back in PE when teams were being picked and it feels like I'm going to be the last one standing there looking pathetic. It's coming....I just know it's coming....and it's gonna be a GOOD one!

You're going to get it one you least expect it. I was shocked when I saw the new one yesterday. That ole' TF is making her way around as quick as she can - here's some pixiedust: that yours come soon!

I just went back in the thread to see when it was I got on with a real person on 1/31. It was 9:17 DIS time so probably closer to 9:25. Both of my rooms were GTY by then. I had assumed the CAT 11 was a GTY because my CAT 6 was so they couldn't assign me one not knowing where the 6 was. I think someone made a blanket decision to put everyone on GTY at that point to get people off the phones quicker.

Thanks Enna!!! I don't know if it will work, but I love your enthusiasm. I feel all cheered up now!

I didn't ask -- as a matter of fact, when my TA told me on Jan. 31 that I was cat 6 GTY I decided not to worry about a room assignment-- I was on the ship and had a verandah. Then when she went to pay the deposit the next day (after I authorized the reservation and told her to go ahead) she told me that it showed room 6050, and that she had stayed in that room before and it was a good location. Just luck.

Cabin 6050 location is great. We have stayed in 6048 several times and it is the perfect location especially if you have children in the Lab (easy access) Congratulations on getting a great cabin location.:cool1:
