The person who posted this is also with the other site who is planning this. I don't want anyone here to be misled about what they are signing up for or who they are signing up with in order to get the minimum number of people needed to participate.

Lisa you are really on top of things.:thumbsup2

By the way, is anyone else having trouble signing on DCL website thru the castaway club?. I have my card in front of me and everytime I try to sign in there I can't get in. Some dumb message pops up to call cs.

I have the same problem.

I received some bad news when I woke up this morning and have been trying to deal with that. DH's GM died Wednesday night. I haven't been able to reach him yet but the service wont be for a couple weeks. She will be buried with her DH in Arlington National Cemetary so we have to wait for an opening. Gram was a very sweet lady who I didn't meet until her DH died, but she and the rest of the family treated me wonderfully. We had just sent out our engagement announcements the week before his accident. She has been in a rest home for quite a while since suffering with alzheimer's. She died peacefully in her sleep, so that is comforting.

I just wanted you to know if I am not around much today.

So sorry for your family's loss Lisa. It doesn't matter that someone is elderly or ill. Death is a hard thing to deal with. :grouphug: for you and your family.

Should we really be calling them the 'spam group'? I thought it was just one person who went too far. I'd really hate for there to be animosity building up from 17 months before the cruise when we finally board and meet our fellow cruisers.

(Ok, it must be bizarro day. I am trying to be a voice of reason. Freaky Friday and where is Lindsey Lohan?)

I agree with you John. It was just that one person who did that.
I don't want to have any anomosity towards anyone. It just wasn't right that they used our captain's name.

I have the same problem.

The CC page worked okay for me. I still haven't gotten my CC Kit and when I called them last month, they said they are trying to clean-up the CC #s 'cause a lot of people had multiple #s. Maybe they have re-assigned #s and haven't told people yet.:confused3

Well I am finally caught up ....MIL came into town and this Morning DW and MIL left for Frisco for 5 days ...So it looks like I have time to DIS :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So ...were still doing Black on Embarkation and White on PC day
:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

pirate:

You are soooooooooooooooo bad!! :lmao:

Feel lucky. I still haven't received an email. ;)

Well if they don't start showing me some love, I might just take my business somewhere else. Mr. Mouse keeps taking my money and can't even send me a little old e-mail about how he is spending it.

I've got a good mind to get some screws and go find his head....

Mine was in my junk mail. You may have better filters one your email than others do. So don't feel bad. :grouphug: :grouphug:

As long as I am above C-level, that's ok with me. :thumbsup2

Enna you got a New and Different tag...........I like it.......seems like the TF is conversing with you! :lmao:

O'Blender--

Did you change your posting icon? I don't remember bouncing Tigger.

I feel really bad doing all these as multi quote but I haven't had much time today to get on the DIS with the accountants here, so as I've had time I've been on and I finally got all caught up.

I hadn't thought about Hep A vaccacines - DH and DS have B done, I haven't. I'll have to speak with out Dr's about when the best time to have them done is.

Prayers and pixie dust that everything goes well today.

Yes, the musical smilies are making CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on 100! That is just the beginning...

No Mickey love here - they've never sent us anything.:sad2:

Stop the insanity!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great trip!

I think you have WAY too much time on your hands! But it was interesting to see!

Me too!

Oh Lisa, I'm so very sorry! :grouphug: To everyone.

Stay safe!

I thought we changed that to red and pink?pirate:

WOW!! Lorri Excellent Multi-quoting!!!! :lmao: TGIF Pal!

Yes, that seems to be the case.

Maybe the TF will be happy with this?

Bip, I totally agree with you about the mom thing. I too am a product of the protection of my parents. I was too afraid to disappoint my parents. We are also very strict with our kids and make sure they they know that where ever they are we can be. I have had several talks with DD and DS about these things and they know where we stand and what is expected of them. All this to say, I am glad to know there are others out there like Mark and I when it comes to these thing. But, unfortunately, I do know that there are kids out there that do not have the "fear of the consequence of their actions" My niece is a high school teacher in our area and she is convinced that most kids have some type of disconnect in their brains that cause them just not get it. I think we as parents really do have to keep up with what is going on. My mother worked 3 jobs, just to keep food on the table when I was in high school, (I worked also to help pay the rent) but she still knew where I was and what I was doing and of course, was great at the fear factor.:)

And that would be a bad thing? :rotfl: Seems like you would be in good company.
Well, aren't you just the sweetest thing! (about the good company)

Your mom sounds a lot like mine. Mine also held 2-3 jobs at all times to keep food on the table. She kept me FAR too busy at home with my younger siblings to ever have to worry where I was while she was at work. And later when she FINALLY allowed me to date... well I won't go into all the details but let's just suffice it to say I didn't date much because I rarely had 2nd dates. (and no, I'm not bothered if that happens to my daughter either LOL) My dates often included a younger sibling or two coming along with us and all dates had to be at places where mom could, and would, show up or call at any time to check on us. There was no just 'driving' around town like was popular back in the day, and she had us on such a strict time schedule from wherever we went to back home again I'm surprised my dates didn't get speeding tickets, let alone time to "park" anywhere for any reason.
I am sure that if I really wanted to push it, I could have DONE more but that doesn't mean my mom wouldn't know- because she would. There was only one time I was not home within the alloted time (from work to home) because I stayed to talk to coworker friends at the time (age 17) and she'd all but called the military to come looking for me... could I have done something in that time that I shouldn't have? Sure, but she would have KNOWN I had the opportunity to go astray (ie: this wouldn't be something she was unaware of) and crack down wouldn't be the word for it. (and I did get the "crack down" even further on her strictness even though I was only talking for about 20min after work! geesh)

I remember at the time thinking geesh, I have THE most strict mom IN THE WORLD. But now I reflect and think how effective it really was. :rotfl: Isn't that how it usually is about a lot of things, huh.

Edited to add: Karen!!! That is beyond delicious looking. Where can I get one of those? LOL
