I think I'm queen of the nightowls on this thread too.
Yet another queen title. :lmao:

Okay y'all... hope you're having sweet dreams right now and hope you have a great day tomorrow! Prayers going out to all those in need of them...

I'm in love with those dogs!!! They are beautiful.
:sad1: I want a dog!!! I had a Yellow Lab, named Thumper, but we had to put her to sleep a few years ago.She was 14 years old and had many medical problems. It was for the best, but the hardest thing I ever had to do. She was a rescue also, only a few weeks old when we got her, I was only 13.

I have a cat, my baby, Jasper. Also a rescue, but she was rescued from "thumper". Jasper's Mom gave birth to her and her siblings in our backyard, and Thumper found them and wanted to play.

She's the princess in the house.

Looking through some pictures and found these. I took them when I stayed at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel last August.

Good morning to all. Woke up after about 5 hours of sleep. Going to head off to wok soon. It is only 4:12 AM here in the midwest. But I can work whenever. We are having our floors refinished so for the next week it will be difficult for me to check in. I will let everyone know how it went once we get everything moved back into the house and set up. I amlooking at itlike a forced spring cleaning. Everything on the 1st floor has to be moved out and trust me only about 1/2 of it will be brought back in. The rest will be stored or given away. Hi Everyone!
I have hardly had time to "lurk" much less post! I checked the summaries and skimmed a bit. Some of the posts were multi tissues - some from tears and others from hilarity. And, of course, a lot just a bunch of FUN!
I must say you are all the most amazing group of people I've ever had the honor/pleasure to "know" - the sense of community - both with laughter, generousity, and caring is awesome. We are so diverse - from all over the U.S & abroad - all ages, backgrounds, et al yet what a connnection. Must be all the Pixie Dust!!
I am so looking forward to joining in this "community" more frequently - you are just so much fun!
BTW - we have had our lovely new(rescued) dog Annie one week today - I hope I did this right it's my first attempt at adding a picture!!

Happy B'day to everyone I missed - Get Well to everyone that is sick - I've added a whole bunch of you to my prayer list -
Hugs! My time is up again!

Chris

Chris, Annie looks absolutely beautiful, reminds me of our Bear-Bear from many years ago. Congratulations, I'm sure Annie is now at a very loving home.

This stuff is going to be really old, BUT. . .

What monsters? I'm proud of the new skills you have! But I've decided to not multi-quote too much. My post count is way too low to be conserving numbers that way.

So it took way too long, but I'm actually caught up on the reading, I just need to ketchup on my posting. If I wasn't honestly such a compulsive person, I would just post as I read something. But I'm afraid my question or comment will be answered in the next page so I want to wait until I've read them all. Then by the time I finish reading, I have to go to sleep to be able to get up for work the next day. Aigh! So Finally I'm caught up before midnight. :cool1:

So I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures and reading everyone's personal stories and I realized that I need to start talking about myself and posting my own pictures or this whole "getting to know people" phase will be a little one-sided. But I didn't want to post a picture of me by myself, so I added a picture of my entire family to my siggie. This is me, my parents, my sister and her family, and my brother and his family on our cruise in January. (Let me tell you how jealous they are about this repo cruise!!)

Alright, this is the first of many for tonight!

(must stop lurking, must stop lurking, must stop lurking)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Nice looking crew there in your siggie Kimberly!!! :thumbsup2

I used to be 5'2 & 1/4 (yes, you have to count that! LOL) and now I'm 5/2 & 3/4! Somehow I grew somewhere along the lines. Maybe I'll feel tall too and like you said... it would feel uncomfortable if I was! There are not many people shorter than me. Case in point, my son's teacher last year was quite a bit shorter than me and it just felt so weird when talking to her and stuff when she was standing. I'm only used to looking DOWN at CHILDREN, not adults. LOL

Unfortunately I don't have small enough feet to buy kids shoes. I range 7-8 (occasionally 8.5 if I want them to be roomy) in shoe size. Mostly 7.5

When we were married (1975) Hazel was 4' 8.5" tall (or short) now she is 4' 7" I call her my incredible shrinking woman. ;)

I got all caught up just in time to get Angelina up so she can start getting ready for school.

See y'all later

Good Morning,
Good Afternoon, &
Good Evening

That looks like all I can get in.

Morning Everyone.....Tried to catch up last night......not a chance !!!!

Mark
