ok..i'm slow...you and lisa been friends for awhile? reading the high
comforts levels..made me realized where i seen you ladies before...
"white christmas"..i can see you guys singing the "sisters song &
meaning it...

oh my, your lil' story...has common "grounds"
to us..first, we decided 5years.."no more". a chicken came into
play [ iam to this day fearful...of any sx.] so yes i am!....it was
debated for years, until my wife let me go on a hunting trip...meant to
bride me. that lil'delay resulted in unexpected ! even the
way she told me was..near riot, i guess. after one of our family
"dis-cussing" epsiodes..she announced iam taking all '"3"of us
outta here.....wait! leave the dog!.."you don't get it, do you? have
you ever been hit with one of those v-man bricks? . we
didn't mess around ...and saw high risk doctors....where more drama
awaited....during the amino..he put the needle right into the placenta,
. however, this is where experience paid off..he did not
pull right out, instead waiting then slowly...removing. needless to say,
i told him, not to lose this most precious of fluid...[ we actually went
out and celebrating getting thru this ]. the dr. laughed!..never lost
any in the 20years.....ok?..3 years after jordan's birth..my wife tells
me the lab. indeed lost it! . but just by my chilling words,
he kept a very small amount back. ........needless to say,
we [me & her brothers] had a hugh! banner welcoming her!


judy..ha, i heard the texas summer is a lil'hot. my brother in tucson ,
been rubbing it in...like flick [xmas story] gets his! i was last
year..for texas...i miss the old swc! i think tradition is neat!

...yarg. girl.........i know that look! once i was getting our
lil' ..she was showing her s/s of being cranky....so i was delaying
it on purpose...."i wanted that tinker bell's look...& at the last second,
she didn't disapppoint..if you see the pic..it is dead ringer for lil miss
attitude...however, she is a good girl..most of the time!

Meanwhile, if anyone is the praying kind... please say a little prayer for my DH. His shoulder is acting up again- a few years ago he hurt it at work and then the dr put him on light duty for awhile but listed it as "not work related" (which is a bunch of bull! There is no other way he could have hurt it BUT lifting over 500lbs almost on a daily basis at work!). In any case, back then he went on light duty, company paid for the dr visits- but since it was listed at the end as not work related... it wouldn't be covered again if it's reinjured.

Well about a week ago he said it was hurting again and started taking ibuprofen (because the dr, who I'm beginning to think is not that great of a dr, had said it was just swollen tissue inside his shoulder joint/etc.) to reduce any inflammation in there... and well, that and rub on stuff is not helping. Now my husband is NOT a big baby (except maybe a little when he's sick). He's the type he could cut off an arm when trimming a tree and he'd just go oops, KWIM? (something like that- not a good example I suppose). but let's just say he doesn't usually even admit to being in pain and has a HIGH HIGH tolerance for pain. yet the last few days his shoulder has been hurting him pretty bad. What's really bad is that he's still working normally at work because the last person that got put on light duty for a "non work related injury" -they laid him off until he's well enough to work regular duty. We can't afford for him to do that- and I don't just mean to miss out on the cruise... I mean like lose the house, lose the cars, become homeless kind of "can't afford that". KWIM?

I'm going to make him a dr appt tomorrow, but I just hope they don't say he needs surgery or something- or we're in deep doo.... seriously. Prayers please! If it's just inflammation in the previously injured area of that shoulder- we really need it to GO AWAY please.

It's hard for me to see him in pain, because he never shows that he's in pain- yanno? So I know it has to be hurting a lot for him to show it.... and then on top of that to have to see him go off to work every day because he has to.
(fortunately he has off tomorrow... maybe 2 days off in a row will give it a bit of a rest. He is the type that he will NOT try to take it easy at work either. I mean I understand now why he doesn't want to mention that it's hurting, to anyone at work, but he's also not the type to just try to take it easy as much as possible like most of his coworkers would.. he's the gungho hard worker type, KWIM?)

BTW, not to be a downer, but while we're on the subject. I don't usually ask, but the police officers that work with my DH seem to be having a string of really bad luck. Just this week we found out that one of the officer's little boys has Leukemia & we also found out today that another (a close friend of ours) has a son with a problem with his heart & is in CCU at Children's Hospital in Boston. I do believe in the power of many people sending out prayers, good vibes, good karma or whatever you want to call it. So I appreciate any good thoughts or prayers you can send this way.

I'm not surprised. It is tough to keep up with this thread, but it's a bit quiet this evening.

Did you check out the summaries on page 1? Believe or not, a lot of the same conversations tend to repeat themselves. That's why we call them groundhogs.

Yes, probably another MRI. The other dr did an MRI last time, at which time is when he said it wasn't "serious" and wasn't a work related injury.

Another laugh for today . . .DS12 took on watching the neighbors dog while they went skiing. We kept reminding each other to go feed the dog after dinner. Well dinner came and went, the boys got ready for bed, the boys WENT to bed . . .Suddenly while I was quietly working and watching Zorro, DS12 came running down the stairs in his pjs saying we forgot the dog!!

DH has a big test tomorrow so he couldn't help. We were hoping our neighbor still wasn't back yet . . . didn't want to walk in on them in the middle of the night. . ..So at 10:30 PM, DS12 put on some clothes and we headed down the street to feed the dog. Poor guy, he was hungry. We were glad we made it down there AND our neighbor hadn't returned!

Ah the adventure . .

When we were onboard in November, I told DH that everyone on the boards said that NTWINE was really bad, but they try really hard. He said "really? I think they are ok"....LOL I really did not think they were that good.....

But we are not used to the live band scene much. We always caught their show in Rockin bar D while waiting for the adult show at 10:30. Now that was fun! (Not the NTWINE part, couldn't wait till it was over, but the adult cabaret /comedy show!

he was upset..that he footed the bill having the little left over

i'll tell a lil secret...it's been an overload keeping up, & notes i took
at work..i left..and of course , my chicken scratching got toss..

cute observations had me... , and .


jinix..i won't relax until we have some place to "hang our swords". i
just know as soon as we entered the "pirate zone", we are going
