One year, I gave up being Catholic for Lent.

I like it Enna!! Last night we had Chinese Food because the next six Fridays will be Pizza! But since we are going to WDW the end of March, we already said we'll probably eat meat on Good Friday. Soooooo I need to give up something really good in exchange.................So I decided to give up.........WORK! :lmao:

pssst...You can use fireplace ash and pretend that you went. Not that I would know that from personal experience or anything.

I was so glad to get out of an office where I had to hear stupid comments all day long about there being something on my forehead. :sad2:

Same with DS! I will never forget when they learned about the 10 commandments. He got in the car after class (DD & I were sick that week so we just went home) and started appologizing because he had sinned. The teacher had a great list that applied them to kid's lives. Honor thy father & thy mother ... was writen out as you will listen to what your parents and other adults in authority tell you. He was upset that because he hadn't cleaned his room when I asked him to, he had sinned. I couldn't help but :rotfl: to myself but it nice that he is really starting to get interested in everything.

Whoever said a little Catholic guilt isn't useful?

Just so you know...you need to get the really woody ash from the bottom of the pile in the fireplace. That puffy white ash on top is just not realistic enough. Again...not saying I have first-hand experience or anything.

I guess cigarette ash won't do the trick? I'm sure the smokers at work would let me borrow some of theirs...

Our problem is our Shutters photos don't turn out that well. Usually because we can't get all three of our kids looking in the same direction and smiling. Case in point:

Yet some how we still manage to buy them!?!:confused3 Regaredless of the direction they are looking they are still might fine looking kids!:)

Are you talking about what they do to the men volunteers during Mouse-2-O?
Since we love you men so much-----make sure you volunteer for this one......great bennies...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

What? NO! :rotfl: We were talking about the 100 calorie snacks, but if men wear pink tutu's during Mouse 2-0 I'm all for it. But I don't know what that is? :confused3

OK, here is the bomb...Everybody DUCK!!!
It's a world of laughter,
A world of tears.
It's a world of hopes,
And a world of fears.
There's so much that we share,
That it's time we're aware,
It's a small world after all.
Chorus:
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small, small world.
There is just one moon,
And one golden sun.
And a smile means,
Friendship to every one.
Though the mountains divide,
And the oceans are wide,
It's a small world after all.
Chorus:
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small, small world. (Repeat ad nauseam until it's permanently etched into your neural synapses.)

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant!

We were on the Jan 04 cruise when they taped that episode. They wouldn't give us advance notice of exactly what was going on, but said that there would be areas of the ship and ports that would not be accessible at times. DCL also gave you the option to cancel and go another time because of the inconvenience. I had a small chat with him while he was relaxing in the comfy chairs on Deck 4. We also got a autographed pic of all of them in our stateroom one night.

Oh how considerate of DCL to inform you of this as you check in at the terminal with your kids in tow after traveling God knows how far by plane, train, or automobile to get there. Sure you could have REALLY taken that option. :sad2:

We have the same problem except it's only DS, DH and myself.

They are a bunch of cuties!

Oddly, I recently discovered that my brother's cell phone does the same thing. What's the odds of BOTH of us programming our phones that way? :confused3

That only leaves me with one question.

Why have either of you given her your phone numbers???

Getting caught in the rain...
And the feel of the ocean...
And the taste of champagne...

Sorry, couldn't resist!:rotfl:

Looks like there are a bunch of us who will be singing along to that one on Deck 7!
