I'm from Texas too and when I say its hot, by gosh it is really hot........Try San Antonio in July........

Is the captain grouchy and has a tendency towards pessimism? I hadn't noticed. I thought I liked him because he is played by JD.

I have tried San antonio in July- several times in fact (it's only a 3+ hour drive for us, so that equals pretty cheap vacation) it still was never AS HOT as that day in Costa Maya, by a long shot.

we were considering a greyhound rescue - when a greyhound mix became available in our town....he is part German Shepard, but his dispostition/personality is all greyhound!!!! he is sweet...he was a handfull at first -took him until three to grow out of "puppyness", but now he is mellowing.....

I adopted a 45 mph couch potato. He prefers Italian leather. Loves the kids. Occasionally he does a guest appearance to raise awareness or to help increase adoptions. Other than that he just likes to watch the Yankees. Jack

I was saying hi to the DIS geeks we cruised with in December. The ones in the first post are the ones on the slower WB thread where Todd keeps trying to swipe their pirate.

Gotta go everyone - Joe is getting his braces put on tomorrow at 9. He has been wearing a herbst device for the past year to correct his overbite and he adapted to that immediately - the orthodontist told us to expect it to take anywhere from 3 to 10 days but he was fine with it immediately. I'm hoping the same hold's true for the actual braces, which he only has to wear for six months.

I'm pretty sure that HIGH FREQUENCY was the band we saw on the Wonder in 2005. I remember them being better than NTWINE, but that doesn't give HIGH FREQUENCY enough credit.

I don't know if I've managed to miss it or something- but did anyone ever answer my question about if the mickey crocs were REAL crocs or a knock off? Because someone mentioned you can switch out the straps on them and on our real crocs the straps are not removable/switchable.

No the Capt is fine I just like to find things to rib him about.....he's an easy target......and I also like to see if we can stump the script.....YOu know like what if he could find NO appropriate remark from POC. Grouchy----telling all new visitors to a** the banner or they walk the plank......let me think......maybe that sounds a tad speck grouchy......
