I have had to close down my shop most of the week, since the boiler went out and we are converting it over to gas (lousy timing), but it looks good to get the heat on by tomorrow. I am keeping my fingers crosses and praying lots because I have an All Day Crop scheduled for this Sunday, and cannot afford to cancel it. :sad2:

Hope that things are fine by Saturday. :) I have always wanted to do one of those but just can't with the kids.

I'm feeling extra sentimental about my lil doggies with Beau being sick and all....so I thought I'd show off my lil guys.....

I make drugs.

Seriously, I'm involved in the R&D side of the pharmaceutical industry. I'm in NJ. What else am I suppose to do? Waste disposal?

Sorry Shannon, I can't help you. Now if you have a flea & tick problem, let's talk. (I'm on the animal health :dog2: :dog: :cat: side of the industry.)

The funniest thing just happened a few minutes ago. Snow White (Hailie) is now in her Cinderella dress, anyhow the princess comes strolling into the livingroom to tell me to pick up the phone. As I lean over to pick up the receiver, the dear little princess Cinderella "toots" loudly. The look on her face was priceless!!! I nearly wet my pants, and couldn't even talk on the phone. The little princess starts yelling at me to stop laughing, which only made it funnier. I had to get up and lock myself in the bathroom until I calmed down.

Kids!!! Gotta Love 'Em!!!

:lmao: I have trained DD to say excuse me very loudly when we are out in public especially. From the time she was little bitty she could out poot any adult in the room. I didn't want anyone thinking that it was me. :rolleyes1

I agree. Do we have any mixologists out there who could suggest an appropriate drink for this group. (Difficulty: creating an appetizing alcoholic beverage containing marshmallow fluff).

Let's call it The Drink of a Lifetime!

No sooner did I enter this than I got a call from the school. They called to tell me that the driver forgot to drop off the kids & will be coming back by in 8- 10 minutes.

 Not sure how that happens BUT ... it reminds me of a funny story. Last year DH was home waiting for the kids to get home when our oldest (DS#1) walks into the house and DH says, "where's your brother?" Needless to say, DS bursts into tears. He'd noticed that his brother wasn't on the bus ... but wasn't sure who to tell :confused3

Come to find out Mr. Social (DS#2) was too busy chatting at dismissal time and didn't hear his bus called. DH and I read DS#2 the riot act for not paying attention. The next week we go to school for Open House. DS#2's teacher shows us that he's got his picture up the cafeteria because he received a "Citizenship Award" Seems that the day DS#2 missed the bus, the friends that he usually leaves the classroom with weren't sure which way to go once they got to the cafeteria because my DS is the one that leads the way each day.

Anyone else believe, like me, that I'm gonna have my hands full with this one? Instead of getting punished for not following the procedures MY SON gets an award :upsidedow

See HR people have a sense of humor! :lmao: I'm a Sr. HR Specialist in the public sector.

I have a lot of lawyer friends and work with a lot too. Of course in HR you have to have a good sense of humor.
