Goofy's a DAWG!!!!![]()
I let my DD shop at Lmtd2, but she goes in knowing I have veto power and am not afraid to use it...sometimes we walk in and leave with nothing...there is often alot there I would not let her buy, but she also puts together some really cute outfits...quality wise, I am not thrilled...I try to get Talbots end of season...and try to steer her to Old Navy....

Wow it's windy out here today... and they say we may have snow tomorrow! Just for those that don't know- we're talking TEXAS here people! this winter has been a cold one for us... late, but cold.
An American Girl Place just opened at the Grove in Los Angeles, and that's where we will be celebrating DD's birthday this year. They have a theatre with a show, a tea room, a store and a salon where they can have their doll's hair done. She is very excited about spending the day there!
Possible Mini DIS Meet ?????
Looks like we will be going to Disneyland on March 23rd thru the 25th just for a quick visit and to celebrate all of our birthdays since they all fall within a couple of weeks between all four of us , So .. I was thinking why not have a little Mini Meet ...So if anyone is interested Please let me know , maybe we could meet at DTD at a place to eat ...or even better yet How about the Blue Bayou ???? I have never ate there before and thought this might be a perfect setting for us Pirates ....So if your up for it we will be there ...Just would like to know how many would be interested if we needed to make a ressie at BB???

Yeah, and we are such wimps! I heard something about this being the coldest winter on record. Not sure if that was true since it was said between David Finfrocks hacks on the air.Local weather person has been sick on air for months!!!!
I just found our DD's will miss an entire week of school for this cruise. As if that was not bad enough it will be oldest DD 1st week of middle school. This is not the best of news.
In Texas we are completely re-aligning the school calendar in 2007/2008 so a lot of us were not sure when they were going to end of starting.
Bummer.
I also let me DD (11) shop at LimitedToo but I am very careful at what she wears. Some of their stuff is very risque for an 11 year old> I have managed to have great sucess with their formal type dresses the last few cruises. The quality of their stuff is not the greatest and the prices are high unless they have a sale.
We absolve you!
Hmmm....well...just make sure she doesn't bring the Bratz dolls on the cruise, ok?
(just kidding!)
has anyone ever stayed Hilton or DoubleTree near DL? DH stays at that family of hotels for work, so we will be probably looking to use points....![]()
The scales are for weighing their balls before the match to be sure they are regulation.

Good Morning - My DD (12) came home with a project yesterday from Middle School. She is suppossed to interview a group of people to determine what are there top 5 "Stresses" in their life. I gave her some ideas like Time, Money, Health, etc. In hindsight, I should have sent her to this thread - the response would have been What Room #, What Dining Time, how many times to Palo, etc I am not sure her Teacher would have been able to understand the answers. I think her Teacher is looking for the Middle School answers of Homework, Friends, Sports, etc.
I agree that the quality isn't the best. I like Old Navy and Target better. Although there are some cute things at Limited 2. When her Brownie troop went they got to put on a fashion show. DD choose a cute black dress with white poka dots and white trim. It was cute, but it was a halter top which I thought was too much for a 6 yr old! It was also $30. DD wanted me to buy it, but I told her there was no place that she could wear it.
Oh my, I feel a little sheepish to have to admit this, but my DD does have some Bratz dolls and I do shop for her at Limited Too (when they have sales). I'm very selective about what I let her choose however. No hoochie clothes. They often have very cute sportswear, especially the sweats.
DD is a total girly girl and loves all sorts of dolls. She has plenty of Barbies and Disney princesses and she loves American Girl dolls. She has several and is really enjoying reading the books that go with them. Where I have to admit I do feel a bit squeamish about the Bratz sometimes, I love the American Girl dolls, books and movies.

OK, now that I have fessed up about the Bratz I feel better. Like going to confession! I hope you will all forgive me my transgression!
