Well, whenever we make it up that way, we always hit Halo Burger, which is her favorite burger joint...She's from Fenton, MI. It's a smallish town kinda between Detroit and Flint. Anyway, they have Vernors floats which are Vanilla soft serve and Vernors...YUH-MEEEE!!! I look forward to our trips to Michigan just for those!!!

I know where Fenton is. I have customers there. Nice area.

I am still shocked by how Grey's ended last night!!!!! I know that they can't kill off Meridith but still! Did anyone even figure out what happened at the disaster area? I thought that it was a parking garage but there seemed to be too many people there for that. Was it a bomb?????

It was awesome wasn't it?!?!?! I believe it was a ferry boat that got clipped by a bigger boat. What I don't understand is why the place Izzy is isn't full of smoke since they are still putting out the fire on the ferry. It was a very emotional episode and apparently it will last for 3 shows.

We now have someone committed to print our shirts for the Iron On Transfer Challanged and also those that want to buy the shirts and not do the work. Price has not been determined as of yet but will be as soon as I get the Artwork done for printing ....Thank You to Esteri for commondeering her Neighbor who happens to own a Print shop and she showed him the artwork and he has no problem printing them for us ...The shirts will only be Available in two colors ...Yes you guessed it Black and White ..Sorry BIP .. ... Those that want other colors can Iron on themselves , cause having a rainbow of shirts will only drive up the price for everyone ....We will Order the shirts in three bulk orders (order dates are yet to be determined) . Once we have the Price and Order Dates we will get these posted either on Page 1 or the Website ....Those that want to Iron on them selves the artwork will be available once I get it done and to the Printer ....The Shirt will have a front and a Back ....for the Newbies ...Black is for embarkation day and White is for the day we pass thru the Panama Canal ..


This is the Front design for Both shirts ...they will be across the whole front of the shirt ..

Now the Back of the Shirt will be really Big ...bigger then the front

Now the only reason I put a black and a white square behind the artwork is to show you what it looks like on those colors ...

Just as I was typing this out I got a package from UPS ,,,Guess what it was ???? It was the shirts I ordered from Cafepress (even though they banned my shop and logos they printed these out cause I ordered them before they took the shop off line) and From the pic below I am sure glad we are not using them ...These are CRAP from the word go ..

So Needless to say I am glad they banned our shirts cause I wouldnt have wanted this type of crap to wear ...Sorry ..I just dont like it when a company charges you almost 20 bucks and the shirt looks like CRAP ...

Well there you have it ...The official look of the shirt is out ...any questions please ask if I didnt cover them in this post ...

I have to agree. My DH purchase a tux, since we go on so many cruises it was cheaper to buy a nice tux then to keep renting. We then purchased a variety of vests and he is all set.
I of course will use any excuse to purchase a new formal dress.

I'm clearly thinking far too much about cruises, because when I first saw the accident scene I thought a cruise ship had been involved! However, I think it is supposed to be that a ferry ran into the dock (similar to the real incident that happened on the Staten island ferry a few years back). Yes, I thought the same thing about the area Izzy is in -- it looked to me like the lower level of the ferry that was used to transport people ferrying their cars across the Sound, and if so that place would be filled with smoke.

That being said, I am probably the only person who hates these big sweeps months events . . . it takes too much away from the development of the regular storylines and feels manipulative, trying to deliberately get people worked up to improve ratings (seems that way to me at least -- it's just my opinion). Obviously it works or so many shows wouldn't do it . . .

I was thinking of just bringing my black suit instead, but DW likes when DS and I do the Tux thingy.

I couldnt agree more with that! On the 2005 repo I rent DH a tux and bought DS one. I was able to get a picture of my DH and DS in their tuxes in front of the mickey statue and it is my favorite picture ever. That picture alone was worth all the money I spent. Needless to say I now make them wear tuxes every cruise. DH is ok with it - DS needs a little coaxing, bribing, whatever works.....

Count us in for an order of several BLACK (!) shirts . . . that's too funny about getting the Cafepress ones and finding out they are terrible. They had looked so good when you posted the link a while back.

We bought DH a Disney tie when we were at WDW in Dec that he wore on dress-up night on the Wonder. I'm definately going to be looking into getting Disney themed stuff for him and DS to wear with their tuxes one night.

I used DU as well. My response was, "DCL can assign the stateroom at anytime but chances are it will not be until just before the sailing date." Don't get me wrong, I'm not unhappy with DU at all! It just makes me wonder if DCL drags their feet for the TAs who've booked and satify their direct bookings first. Truth be told, it does make sense.

Look at it this way...maybe the "upgrade fairy" will sprinkle a little pixie dust on those who wait the longest?

I'm wondering if it is more the other way around.

Actually I have never taken a graphics art or computer class in my life , But thanks for the compliment ....I just like to press buttons and see what happens ..LOL A friend of mine gave me Photoshop CS2 and I starting playing around with it ...When I was coaching football for my sons team before he got to High School I did the kids posters for them ...Had a friend go out and take pics at a game then I put them into a poster ...Heres what all my kids on the team got as a present from the coach at the end of the season ...

I booked direct with DCL but have been calling everyday!!!!!!!! I just did not want a metal balcony on the bottom. I would feel too enclosed!! These are also CAT 5 but at the back of the ship.The room is small enough so I need to see outside. I guess I have some kind of phobia. Mid ship sounds great to me.

So I need to pester them huh?
