So we will be on the Magic right before you are this summer -- we are on the Aug.8-18 Med cruise. Are you spending time in Spain or other parts of Europe before the repo? We are going to spend a few days in Barcelona prior to the cruise and head to Paris afterwards. I know that Andrew from the UK is on the cruise before mine, and I thought I saw that someone else on this thread will be on the repo afterwards . . . I don't know that we will have a pirate's night on the regular Med cruises, but certainly you will as you take the ship back to the Caribbean.

Thats Great ...Maybe we will see you in Barcelona ...we will be there 2 days prior to the cruise ...Probably will stay at the Grand Marina , which is right there at the Port terminal ....

I didn't tell DD about LM3 ahead of time - she was on the phone with her dad at the time it came on - and when the realization hit her, she started jumping up and down - now she can't wait!!!! I thought she would be more excited about the Tink movie, but it was LM!!!!

Just FYI for whoever is looking - you can buy Travelex now (at least you can on insuremytrip) and I believe their "pre-existing" coverage needs to be purchased within 21 days of your first payment (so whenever you paid your deposit).

Yep! I agree! We'll stay up all night, then when they try to throw us off the ship the next day, we'll say "But we're not even packed yet!!" I wonder what they would do with a mutiny THAT LARGE!?!?!?!

We can compare notes on Barcelona when we all get back, though!

If you have any questions about Cadiz before you go, I should be able to tell you about that area after June, since my oldest daughter (she'll be 15 by then) will be doing a foreign exchange program there in June. It's supposed to be beautiful.

Acutally, I have not a clue on Euchre. My Sis tried to teach me about 100 years ago and I couldn't begin to play now but my DD plays. She whipped the pants of her Uncles this Thanksgiving.

And as for Vernors you haven't lived till you have had Vanilla ice cream, Venors and Hershey's chocolate Syrup. Or maybe even Eggnogg and Vernors. and for those really daring my DH brings home some awesome Cafe liquor from Mexico that tastes really good with Vernors. I would tell you what the stuff is but the label is in Spanish so I haven't a clue. it is called San Agustin Crema de Rompope.

Drink up me heartie, yo ho!!! Probably spelled that wrong too. But us pirate wenches don't get much higher education.

Well, whenever we make it up that way, we always hit Halo Burger, which is her favorite burger joint...She's from Fenton, MI. It's a smallish town kinda between Detroit and Flint. Anyway, they have Vernors floats which are Vanilla soft serve and Vernors...YUH-MEEEE!!! I look forward to our trips to Michigan just for those!!!

Good morning everyone. I know that DH got home during the night because of the suitcase in the living room & the clothes on the bedroom floor. DS woke up feeling bad again but he managed to down a waffle, milk, and throw in a couple spats with his sister as well....so I sent him off to school.
