No the discussion from BBB and a couple of others was what to do with her 10 yo.

They do not divide up the OC as far as I know. Now they do have a CM in charge of each age group within there as they do roll call and walk to places together. 90% of the time that group is more of a free time computer and game time.

Anyone else have any other experiences or info?

OBWV I went to Erasmus Hall and when Barbara became famous,her pictures were all over the school.

Radioclash,when we lived on LI I never could figure out why the shelves were cleaned out before the snow came? Didn't anyone have any food in the house?I used to stock up onthe important things like tpaper
My grandkids were in the car with us one day and we pass a memory garden which is right near the house and the little one made a comment like "you guys are really old, when are you going to be put in the ground?" Nice. out of the mouths of babes.
Ok, the house just shook with that last crash of thunder and the dog is under the table again. Poor thing goes nuts with the thunder and we can't calm him down. DH was home one day and a strike landed right near the house. He said it was an awesome sound and thought the windows would break from the vibration.I think we lost the dvd player that day. That did it for Rocky. Never been the same since

Those fish extenders look cute. I think if we can get the pattern for it, most of us with sewing machines can put it together real quick.

I was browsing thru my bookmarks and found one from a diser I saved. She gave detailed instructions on how to tie dye a mickey head shirt. You know the two circles for the ears and the one big one for the head. Problem is I do not know how to link something like that
When i get my DS to come over , I will try to remember. Since we have over 18 months, I'm sure I'll have it posted by then

Fish extenders----

ok you know the mail thing on the outside of your door that looks like a fish? Well someone came up with thisthing that hangs on a dowel rod adn has little pouches for goodies to be delivered. I will try to find the link.

Well, that's done for another year, it took me longer for the boards to come up then it did for 17 pages of income tax pages to print, LOL!!!

Didn't get back as much as I hoped for, but did get enough to pay the deposit for Hazel and I, and to put some $$ towards our onboard credit account!!!

Now to go back and see what I missed the past few hours. I guess with the boards being slow, it slowed down the # of postings.

Enna, what a sweet story! It must have been so much fun to plan it all and then see the delight on their faces.

I am glad to hear that everyone in FL and the family members are safe. I saw the pics last night and they were frightening.

I was very confused with the t-shiRt link, and I was relieved to discover that it was not my lack of computer skills that kept me from being able to see all these "cool" mugs to order. For those who have not done the ironing at home, you should not use an ironing board; you must use a firm surface. I use a marble cutting board. I will make an attempt to post a link to the very helpful disboard tips area for making your own t-shiRts. If you scroll down, it tells you what type of paper and shirts to buy, and makes suggestions as to how to do the iron on.

On our cruise they did have specific times for YOUNGER kids to be in the OC- because my son was only 8 on that cruise and there were times he could go in there (and he really liked it). I can't remember exactly what the deal was- but it caused us a bit of a problem and if I'm remembering right it was something about the kids had to be able to sign themselves in/out in order for you to leave them in there during their "younger kids allotted time" -but we made do by taking our son and giving him sign out privileges, telling him he really could NOT sign himself out, then once he was out of there we took away the sign out privileges again (he'd already lost that privilege earlier because he left the lab to go to the bathroom for some odd reason- when they were up playing basketball.. didn't tell them that's why he was leaving otherwise I'm sure they would have told him where the bathroom was and we were frantic looking for him and just happened upon him on deck 2 at a bathroom there! I think it was deck 2- maybe not that deck but definitely far off from the basketball court!)

Anyway, I can't remember the specifics but they did have it on the schedules for certain times for younger than the 10-14 age group. I cannot remember if older children could be in there at the same time too or if it was only for those specific ages. My memory fails me.

Far as I know there are only short specific times for other age groups but the 10-14yr olds going (like you said 90% of the time just free time) are just kids signing themselves in and out there. Man I can't remember. I just remember my son couldn't go in there often (cause he was 8) but there were specfiic times allotted for his age and we had some kind of issue with leaving him there and having to change his sign in/out status in order for him to go in there, or something. I'll have to ask my husband later when he gets home if he can remember the specifics. LOL
