What would you say to these 7 questions???

1) Favorite Color
2) Favorite food item on a cruise?
3) Favorite moment on a cruise?
4) Your musical inclinations (catagory and or artist)
5) Dream Job (has to be something Disney)
6) If you could have anything for your new "wheels" ... what would it be?
7) You're the Captian now... and what ONE port would you want to visit with the Magic... any port in the world - where would you take the Magic?

I'm really late on this, but here it goes...
1.Purplle
2.Mangos
3.Seeing the charecters through the eyes of my little ones
4.pop,80's, Elton John
5.Being one of the Characters
6.An old VW Bug
7.Bermuda..it's beautiful

I had to pause on your reply to #3.... and say this is indeed something I can't BEGIN to explain or measure in how much I agree with your reply that you ..."love "seeing the characters through the eyes of [our] little ones".

And as a bit of an unexpected encounter - I was looking for an entertaining illustration when I ran across these two considerations below... not that I embrace it all fully... but certainly I value imagination highly (as well as the accumulation of knowledge)...

imagination_einstein.gif
"Imagination is the eye of the soul."
Joseph Joubert (1754-1824), French philosopher.

"Only in men's imagination does every truth find an effective and undeniable existence. Imagination, not invention, is the supreme master of art as of life."
Joseph Conrad (1857-1924), Polish-born English novelist. A Personal Record, chapter 1 (1912).

"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
Albert Einstein (1879-1955), German mathematician and physicist.

OK... I gotta get the kids to school :teacher: now... I'm on my own with the spouse gone until thursday....

Good morning everyone! I am just taking a quick break before I get back to work here. I have been to 3 stores, scanned it all (for neilson thing), and put it all away. Now I need to do some cleaning so that I can spend the afternoon guilt free here. :)

I'm on the waitlist for the Neilson shopping stuff. We are ending our 2 year deal on the TV Ratings this month.

I am actually working on a shirt that is close to that ...with the Skull and Crossbones on the back really big and Take What you Can on it as well ......Once I am complete you will see ...

pirate:

I'm not being difficult either...I promise!

What about "Take what you can" on the front with a small skull & crossbones image (in the "pocket" area), and then the large image on the back?

Andy, is your daughter not coming on this cruise?

Angelina will be with us for the 15 day cruise, but if Hazel and I do the 5 day afte the 15 day, Angelina will get off the ship and go with my mom until Hazel and I get off the ship the following Saturday.

Lunchtime is coming to an end and I still didn't get completely caught up.

And before I go for now....

... it is time to reveal the original motive behind one of my questions:

Does anyone KNOW which question the above Monty Python character influenced?
If you cannot see the image... it is of the BRIDGE KEEPER from the Search for the Holy Grail:confused:

May have been answered already, but there's a target not more than a mile down Harbor Blvd. There's also a Walmart across the freeway, 5-10 min drive.

Just a word of warning for those staying on points. I'm not a DVC member so I don't know all the specifics. But I've seen many people post on the DL forum stating that you don't get a lot for your points. Most people go for the DL Hotel or Paradise Pier because the GC takes too many points.

rumor has it that dvc is going to open up a dvc at disneyland. hopefully it will
be opened by then. rumor has it that they are going to open up 50 rooms at the gc. i know it probaly will be hard to get in on the 7 month window.

What is your favorite color?

I'm hoping with you.

It seems like every time I call DCL I get a different answer . I spoke to one really nice CM who didn't and was very upfront and honest about the front-line's reaction to the whole thing. What get's me is that when you call and ask them how people who are getting ressies after yours are getting room assignments and your still listed as a guarantee they tell you it's not happening, change the story when you call them on it and just give you story after story - basically hoping you will just go away.

I'll be on the phone agaon on Wed trying to get a room assignment - I know it shouldn't be such a big deal because we only have one, but I would still like to know where I'm being put.

I don't blame you for being frustrated. I'd be a little antsy too if I were in your shoes. It sounds like there really is no method to their madness...:confused3

:thumbsup2 :rotfl:

actually there are a couple guys in the neighborhood that love their "toys" so much they just go from driveway to driveway doing everyone else's = so I have that!!!!:thumbsup2

I was that way at our old house. A couple of neighbors had only shovels or small throwers. Since we had side walks there, I was already going to the lot line for that, I just kept going to do their whole side walk area, then their end of drive where the plow piled up, and then finished the rest of their drives.

Once you're out there and get going, it really isn't that much work.

Andy, try to keep warm this afternoon! (maybe put on a 4th layer...and then see if you can still walk! :lmao: )

Talk of putting this in the "pocket" area gave me an idea.

Maybe I'll but it on my back pants pocket where I put my wallet. Those will then become my Disney pants.

Better yet, might as well put it right on the wallet.

I'm gonna make a big bright neon pink shirt with Take What You Can on front and Give Nothing Back on the back- and it will be in lime green lettering. I will blind people, they will not be able to help but notice me. That crazy lady with the crazy shirt.

Hehe....sounds like things my dad wears for family functions....he's now known for wearing outrageous color combinations....and he's coming on the cruise with us.....so if they see a crazy woman with crazy colors that will be you, but if it's a guy, then it's probably my dad. :lmao:

Where did everyone go? :confused3

I got two posts in a row that are 7 minutes apart. Is it not the lunch hour on the East coast?
