I see there are still no opennings for the repo on DCL's site.

We're trying to move up a few doors (looks like we are just under the Lumiere's Kitchen). Trying to move up under the dining room. Guess beggers can't be choosers. At least we're on.

I've had a password for Disney.com forever...but in the past, when a TA took over the reservation, I've never been able to access it after they took it over.
I have no idea what time she got up and made the reservations. But I DO know that my new TA would stay up all night if necessary. She's a real go-getter!

Maybe your TA doesn't give you the right ressie number to put in??

I'm telling ya! It looks good and there would be NO WAY we'd confuse any other piratey type shirt with someone on DIS (that wasn't really someone from DISboards). Even if no one else jumps on this bandwagon, if I do iron on transfers I'm probably going to hunt for lime green shirts.

Black and white sounds good...
Until you start thinking about wearing black shirts in August.. and thinking about wearing white shirts while on vacation. We don't usually hang with the white shirts much around this household- they wouldn't stay white long!

I would trade my room for the same amount of time in the Royal Suite in Cinderella's Castle (all expenses paid of course!) and a full reimbursement of my cruise fare. Yeah...like that's EVER gonna happen.

I can't tell you how glad I am that I was able to book this cruise this week.

Other than that, this whole week sucked!

None of us are thrilled about where the Coast Guard is sending us for the next 4 years. No offense to DC folks, I'm sure it's a lovely city, but it's - well - a big city & I don't think it is going to fit us very well.

Then we had to put our dog to sleep this morning. We found out last Aug. that she had cancer & we knew it was only a matter of time. She was our 'practice kid'. We got her when we were first married. It was a rough morning but DSs are holding up pretty well now.

So, who has good news?? I don't mean to bring the thread down, I just needed to have a moment. OK now I'm going to go look for a post to make a smart a** comment about...

I can relate to the CG thing! My best friend (her DH is CG) moved to San Diego last fall and they will be moving again this spring/summer. It seems it will be DC, but they haven't gotten an updated list in regards to his promotion. They are in CG limbo...

Our schools were cancelled today because of the cold weather....will be 10 below with the wind chill factor! Not that's cold! They already warned us school may be cancelled tomorrow as well.

OK, I'm not going to try to CATCH up, just to KEEP up today! It's 7 degrees outside, and my fingers are frozen, and my fingernails are purple...and I'm not wearing nail polish!!! So please pardon any typing errors that may happen..

OK, so I obviously missed A LOT this weekend!!! I popped in Saturday night/Sunday morning for a few minutes just to say hello.

I did notice some talk about whether the GTY folks will get rooms or not. I would hope so. I mean, I know that they overbooked, but I would think that there will EVENTUALLY be many cancellations. So I wouldn't worry about it. THe good thing is that even if people don't cancel until months from now (when the prices go even higher!), the GTY folks are locked in with pricing. So I think it will all work out.

Greetings Pirates form the frozen midwest.. it is -9 here here and that is real temp with the windchill it is -25 or so.. brrrrrrrr.

Hi Stace - did you ever get your answer? When I told my DD we were booked (w/o her ) the next words out of her mouth were - are you going to see the brown b**bies this time?

OK, I know this was WAY back...but I was skimming and I noticed it. SO what's the story about the Captain's speech??? It may have been explained, but like I said, I didn't have time to completely catch up, so I didn't get it. Sounds like it must be a pretty good story though!

Good point Amesmom - we're heading to Hawaii in 5 weeks. That's not a bad thing.

SO - anyone live near Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Colorado Springs, Kansas City, St. Louis, or Louisville?? We're beginning to plan our move & are thinking that these will be our stops. We're going to drive across the middle of the country since we've already done both the northern and souther routes. I'm really hoping to hit the World's Largest Ball of Twine on this trip!

I'm also thinking that we'll accept the challenge of making the trip across the country without eating in a national chain restaurant. When you treck across 1-2 countries every three years, you have to do something to keep it interesting.

Sounds like FUN!! I LOVE a good road trip!!

Yeah, I think we're all a little frozen today! I'm sitting here shivering because I was the first person in the office today, and I think the thermostat's broken!!! It's just NOT getting warm in here today...
I don't know that there is one of us who isn't fanasizing about a certain 15 days in August of next year...
