a quad should offer no less than $652
a triple should offer no less tahn $489
a double should offer no less than $326​

My cabin credits are currently $375 so my net gratuities are a minimum of about $277... plus at a minimum another $5 for the usual fridge magent I gotta get wherever we've gone!

everyone remember bring some loose fitting clothes because after 15 nights on the magic at the end of your cruise the only thing that might fit is your underwear

has disney ever overbooked and someone who had gty wasnt able to go?
i know gty means you are guaranteed a cabin that cat or a cat higher. but they overbook knowing there will be cancellations. maybe they didnt have enough cancellations or something. has anyone ever heard of this happening?

YIKES! I hope not! I didn't even consider that. Does anyone know?

I've heard of folks being compensated who had a cabin on a ship - but the ship was full. I think I read about it on another forum. You all know this kind of snafu MIGHT happen... but in practice I have yet to see anyone post that they personally saw it or experienced it. Especially here with DCL.

Anyone concur?

I read at Christmas DCL got it wrong and too many people were on the cruise at payment day so they offered a lot to some to bump off, one person said they switched weeks around so instead of DCL>WDW they did WDW>DCL next one so it does happen. They seemed pleased with the offer???

Good Morning Fellow Mateys,

I hope everyone on the east coast stays warm today. Here in Williamsburg,VA it is in the 20's. This is a heat wave as compared to my fellow mates up north.

Andy - that will be a great surprise if you can pull off a three week vacation on the Magic for your anniversary!!!

I talked to Disney on Saturday and they said this Eastbound cruise is sold out and that everyone who has a guarantee will be getting a room. The Westbound isn't sold out yet and the Med cruises are not fully sold out. They were a little surprised that these cruises wouldn't go fast.

Oh well - I hope everyone has a Magical day and stay warm.

I am so excited to see we will be sailing together again, and what a cruise too!! I feel so fortunate to even be on it.

They probably would have sold out on these- westbound and eastbound (which is sold out) if they'd done them at a different time. We would have chosen westbound if the dates were closer to the end of May. We'd much prefer going to WDW first, then cruising. We're not really interested in doing WDW after a cruise- so we're just going to do DL and then cruise.
But they made the dates far too early in May. That's when my kids ARE still doing important things like semester tests, TAKS tests, finishing up the last 6wks grades, stuff like that. The last week or so of school would have been fine- they don't do anything during that time anyway.

I certainly hope those that are gty do get a room on the ship. I mean to tell ya- if they wanted to bump us off they'd have to do something MAJOR to make me accept the offer. LOL

I would trade my room for the same amount of time in the Royal Suite in Cinderella's Castle (all expenses paid of course!) and a full reimbursement of my cruise fare. Yeah...like that's EVER gonna happen.
