We did see that before. Makes us all think we will have to bring larger formal wear for the last night. Not sure I'll still fit in my dress at the end of the cruise.

My DH told me to buy a sheet & cut a hole in it for my head. Sure & maybe I could buy a Bedazzler to really make it chic! :sad2:

Just wonder if anyone has visited before and can give me some information on this. Is it possible to arrange a trip privately as do not particularly want to shop as well.

Looks as if there is not to be a great amount of time in Acapulco and read that the cliff divers do not start until 1.p.m. when we are due to sail it would appear.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Bren:confused3

There has been a little talk about this & there is some great info about Acapulco on the website. I'm really hoping that they offer an early show. I can't believe DCL wouldn't have some pull in that area?

Too bad we don't have a link to our superty duper wonderfully put together web site on the first page so that anybody that pops in can find a quick link to all this fantabulous information. :surfweb:

Can any one tell me how to use photos here that I've posted on Snapfish??

I've got pictures of the sample t-shirts. But I didn't bring the passwords to our website with me (which is where I usually load the photos I use here) - so I thought I'd use snapfish. I thought I remembered someone saying that's where they posted the photos they use here. But I can't seem to get a good URL to the photos to use in the img command.

Help!!

Anyway - gotta run. Will be back in a couple of hours. Hopefully, by then someone will have an answer and I'll be able to share the story and photos of our shirts.

Hope everyone had the most fantabulous of holidays!!

And all this time I thought you were INNOCENT!

I everyone. Sorry I haven't been on in quite a while.

Just want to pass on some info I got regarding the WB repo as it may relate to our EB repo.

I called to link ressies with another DISer we sailed with this past October and in talking to the CM I asked if they knew which nights they had things planned. She said they didn't have the EB nights set, but she did give me some highlights of the WB theme nights. She said they are working on the EB nights and should be out soon.

Sorry if this info has already been posted, but here is what the CM said for the WB:

Night 3: Formal Night
Aruba: Tropical Night
Night 8: Semi-Formal Night
Acapulco: Mexican Night
Cabo: Pirate Night (this one surprised me since it is NOT in the Caribbean)
Night 14: Ballroom Under the Stars Formal Night

She indicated that they only had 3 formal/semi-formal nights.

Thanks for the info.:thumbsup2 We miss seeing you here.:sad1:

I also use Photobucket.com for posting pictures. It is super easy - you just upload your pictures and then underneath is the text you need to use to link to the picture.

I'm afraid I have never used Snapfish, so I can't help you...

Diane, I hope you gave him an earful after that comment.

Smack your DH upside the head for me, will ya?
Besides, I'm not sure a Bedazzler is going to make ANYTHING chic.

Formals on night 14. :scared1: I need to get my order in to Omar the Tentmaker.

Oh come now...

Do i have drag everyone to the gym with me every day?

Could you please?
You are one awesome workout machine! Congrats on 100!

Just how formal are the formal nights??

Elbow-length gloves and tiaras.

Seriously, some women wear formals, some wear cocktail dresses, some wear dressy plants & a blouse, some wear a nice dress, some wear the same thing they wear every other night. Guys are usually in tuxes or nice suits, but some don't bother at all. There is a range.

We have fancy duds that we don't get to wear very often, so we go all out with formal dress and tux, but that's us.

Well...

... for a select few bottom fishers (like me) I regret to declare that WOOT had a $1 Random GRAB BAG OF C-A-R-P last nite at 10:01PM (or AM?) California time. I missed it - and apparently it sold out in THREE MINUTES. Some folks seem to have obtained THREE orders of 3 items! RATS! I imagine we could have gotten blue tooth headsets, MP3 players or other things of lesser value for a $1 which failed to sell out normally on their site! You didn't seriously think they'd clearance out $2000 LCD projectors or $1500 notebook computers for a dollar, did ya? Oh well... maybe next time one of us will catch it, eh? Even $3 + $5 flat shipping fer a trio of MP3 players or Blue tooth headsets is a good deal! As such it should be worth no less than $30+5 for the 3 items or no more then $90+5 at Woot prices IMO.

.... yeah, with a 3 minute sell out window it's FAT CHANCE!

Crash, I missed it as well. You have to buy 3x of the bag of Carp. They have it posted in the rules for it.
DS came thru with the new computer. Gave me his old one with over 500 g hard drive. and DH got mine. However............All my files etc are on his so I have been slowly migrating them to mine and of course having to work yesterday cut into my time:goodvibes But aside for a few I'm all transferred.

Spent Christmas day at Downtown Disney for a while. It was busy but when we left at 3pm it was getting really crowded. DH wanted to get a sandwich at the Earl of Sandwich but the line was out the door:scared1: We decided it was enough and headed home. I was thinking of Todd and Melissa when I saw this!!!!!

You guys look great.

I was thinking about wearing this one night.

I wore it to a wedding a few years ago and it's been sitting in the closet ever since.
I have no idea what to do about the ballroom night.:confused3

Thanks! Cute dress - IMO that would be nice for either formal or semi-formal.
I think I am going to wear the dress from the 2004 picture for the second formal night, which I assume for us would also be the Starlight Ball or whatever it is and is also our thread designated "Grown-Up Princess" night.

now I just need a tiara...

DS and I wear tuxes and DW does wear a long dress. You will see people in a wide array of outfits. We had some, let's say, real questionable outfits worn by some back in October.

Then there is also that guy who got reamed by everyone when he ripped on DCL because he was out of place wearing his t-shirt to dinner. :rotfl: Who was that guy again? Someone I'm sure has a link to that story.

BALLROOM NIGHT....... Cool....

DH and i are going to sign up for lessons starting in a couple weeks.

(My Xmas present) OK so i threatened him.....:rolleyes1

Hmmmm.....let's see, Dancing with the Stars is on ABC, which is part of Disney, correct? Perhaps they have a few people from the show on the ship? It is after they leave Cabo on the way to LA.

A chance to actually ballroom dance would be fantastic! DH and I have been dancing since college (though we haven't had much opportunity lately) and the only disappointment for me with a DCL cruise is that there really isn't anywhere to ballroom dance. I had hoped that the "band" in the Promenade Lounge would occasionally provide the right kind of music - but on our 3 cruises, it has been mostly pop/rock and on our last cruise was absolutely horrible to listen to. We've only stopped by there a few times, but it was either music that just wouldn't work (unless you want to do nothing but foxtrot the whole time) and/or the floor was filled with little kids. I have never heard a waltz or rumba or polka or even a decent swing being played there.
