Thanks, Paula -- it was very peaceful there and put me in the holiday spirit.

Ok lets talk Aruba. There was some talk back about 500 pages regarding the Jolly Pirate Sail/Snorkel trip. This is absent from the DCL list, so I emailed them. The date we are there is open at this time. They have 2 boats in operation with an early 9:30-2pm trip and a shorter one in the afternoon 3pm-6pm. Each trip stops at 3 snorkel sites (Malmok, Boca Catalina and the Antilla). The early cruise is $53/pp and the afternoon one is $33/pp. The morning one includes a BBQ lunch and both include Open Bar, gear and rope swing. Mark (Disneypilot) had mentioned that he did this excursion and really enjoyed it. Anybody interested in this?

This also listed on the website.
Looks like it is about $10/each way cab fare from ship to Holiday Inn.
AWESOME!!! I think the Escaping Moms would LOVE to do that!! We definitely wanted to snorkel and especially the wreck.....this sounds perfect! Either one, morning or afternoon...whichever fits our port schedule the best.

Roger, that sounds like a lot of fun. I know Mark really enjoyed it.![]()
I sure hope sometime soon I get to finally chat again. I've got to finish wrapping some presents and make some cookies. Everyone have a nice evening.![]()
Paula maybe you could stick your head in while the cookies are in the oven.
Anyone interested on the travel channel right now is Disney Holiday Magic.. host Samantha brown...![]()

I took the 15 and 13 year olds, but not the 10 year old, and I think that was appropriate (even though the 10 year old saw the stage production when she was 9!). It is MUCH more bloody than the stylized deaths shown on a stage. I'm not a big fan of the gore, but understood why he had to do it -- I was talking to my daughters afterwards and saying that on B'way you enter into a suspension of disbelief because you know certain things cannot be done on stage, but it would just be weird to do the same on film, when you can do so much more.
I suppose I would say that if the 12 year old is familiar with the material and understands that, and if you think he is able to see some pretty horrific deaths and know they aren't real, it would be fine -- but I think he is on the edge of what I would even potentially recommend. That is why the film is rated R --- there are no language or sexual situations that are giving it the rating, just the blood and violence.
Are you suggesting she stick her head in the oven?
Thanks, guys . . . (and to Roger who I thought I had multiquoted, but it didn't show up here!).
Andrew, if I don't get another chance, Happy Christmas to you and yours . . . you will be finished opening presents by the time we get up!:woohoo:![]()

Laurie, hopefully they were professional, since this was a concert that lots of people who don't even know any of the performers paid good money ($60 a ticket, believe it or not) to attend! It's funny that I even had pictures to post -- there were notices prominently posted everywhere about no photography, including in the program, so I was so nervous every time I would sneak my camera out to take a quick picture with no flash! If I don't speak to you again, have a wonderful Christmas. I know you have so much to be thankful for this year.![]()

Thanks for your advice. I think DH, DD15 and I will go and see how it is. Then, if I think he could handle it/enjoy it I can take him another time. Heck, it gives me a second chance to see Johnny! I bet DD will insist on a second viewing anyway.
Thanks again.
And a merry Christmas to you, and maybe knowing my two we will open up presents before you go to bed, I know it will be before California Dissers go to bed.
