Everyone has been sharing Christmas pictures . . . so here are some from a concert given last night in the medieval hall of the Metropolitan Museum . . . my two youngest were singing in it and my middle one also played violin. It was lovely in there . . .

In this one my littlest is right in the middle -- the little one next to the blonde (her sister).

This is the middle one, who is a violinist.

The tree there is the beautiful medieval tree with Neopolitan ornaments and an antique creche . . .

I was still drafting my ambush posting when I noticed the prize had just passed! So... all I can say is I too hang my head in INNOCENT shame. And the NEXT time I, for one, will be better prepared.

I guess you don't want to hear that today it was in the high 70's...... It is supposed to get down to the 50's for Christmas.

We have word of 3 or 4 more winter storms coming in,starting tomorrow.

You've just described me to a "T" - I don't do well in crowds, I actually shut down and really have to push myself in those situations. Though I think that I will do better on this cruise because "talking" to so many people before hand and getting to know them a bit in between all this fluff will help not only me but others like us, to feel comfortable.

This morning, while missing the run (!), I saw the movie of "Sweeney Todd" . . . I had to consciously avoid comparisons to the brilliant B'way production put on recently, but on its own terms it is an amazing movie -- certainly it is not going to be to everyone's taste, but Tim Burton has an unparalleled artistic vision and this movie might show it off to the ultimate level. It's going to be too bloody for some, too much of a musical for others, and certainly Johnny shows he has no ego as a "leading man" to take on this role, but what an actor he is.

Monica, I will be interested in your thoughts when you see it . . . Cheryl, you too!

I've heard it's brilliant. Not sure when I'm going to get to see it though. Can't take DS and don't have anyone to watch him right now.

... fer a nickle I might be pursuaded to render an early opinion. However, during the holiday season I ask that all proceeds be forwarded to the local charity of your choice. Give frequently and please be gracious when being generous!

Seriously, We've left it open to everyones' imagination as to how they will reveal thier identity in the final days to come. And at the same time we've encouraged folks to be creative in taunting thier neighbors. However, I imagine in the first couple of weeks of January after all late packages have been delivered we'd schedule a grand UNVEILING. Probably on a Friday nite chat - and one where TINA (Downrivermama) is scheduled to atttend with me. She is, after all, my partner in crime.

So now if you'll excuse me - my out of school kids have just finished thier lunch so we're gonna hit the park and maybe engage in other random wanderings around town.

With any luck I'll be back in time for an early chat - and to offer taunts for those suspecting I might have sent a Secret Santa/Mickey or Minnie package. Sooo... with that I bid one and all....

I could be wrong, but I thought she told me she had to see it 3x today We'll have to get her opinion. Everyone so far has given it good reviews but all say very bloody.

I did, I did....my camera!!! And my family is all together.

Floor mats for the car and a bag of batteries. Yes, he actually did give me those....on two different years. NOW you know why I'm thrilled with the camera!!

#7) If you could create a special "DREAM" shore excursion on our TOAL... what would it be and or involve?
I think I'd like to be able to get off the ship in the Canal, maybe have a private tour of how it all works...or whatever....
Any other port would have to involve lounging on a beach with every amenity at my fingertips.....and a cabana boy!

From what I have read, there is a lot of good snorkeling accessible from beaches.
