I think if you stay in the same cabin, you just leave all your stuff as is . . . if you have a different cabin you pack up and take your bags to guest services the morning of disembarkation and they will take it to the next cabin.

Craftymouse, if you read this, help me out with the details, since you did this recently!

I have put in for a request to be in the same cabin, but at this point I am cat 6 GTY for the 5 night Bahamas (and have an actual cat 6 room assignment for the TOAL) so I won't know until much closer to time whether we will have to pack up or not. Are you staying in the same cabin?

I heard that DCL likes to keep people in the same cabin if at all possible. I told them I'd sacrifice and take the Roy for the TOAL, but somehow I don't think they'll upgrade me :lmao: :lmao:

We are not in the same Cabin we are 2 doors down ...If we have to repack completely and then un pack again we may seriously consider not doing this...I understood all we had to do was just move our stuff right to the next cabin since it is 2 doors down and the steward would help ...

I'd gladly pack up and move to go to a Cat 1!!!!!!!!!!! Since we are in the same category for both, perhaps DCL will be able to keep us in the same cabin. I don't even care if they move my TOAL assignment to a different cat 6 if we could stay in the same cabin for both.

I copied this from Craftymouse's trip report on her B2B:

It was now about 9:00 so we found some seats in the Atrium to wait for disembarkation to finish. We would have to get off for them to clear the ship and head to the terminal to check in again. There weren’t many seats so the kids headed to the Promenade Lounge to wait while DH went for a walk. While I was waiting in the Atrium a little girl started talking to me. She was absolutely adorable and so much fun to chat with. I also chatted with her mom and it turned out they were also doing a back-to-back. We ended up leaving the ship slightly before them but would end up meeting them again in the terminal and then throughout the next week.

We headed off the ship around 9:45 and were escorted through Customs and back up into the terminal. I took lots of pictures this time as the place was virtually empty!

I

My 11 year nephew will not let you rest on the 5 night Todd! He called me the other day because he read the booklet for DCL and was doing a book report on it. I told him to write in his report that his Aunt Tracy was staying in the best room on the ship and that she sells Disney Cruises so anyone interested should call me :lmao: :lmao: He is obsessed with Captain Jack and wanted to know if we would have a Pirate Diner onboard (I finally figured out he meant dinner :rotfl: )

We have to get ourselves off the ship for 90 minutes. Our stuff can stay and housekeeping will move it for you.

I'm hoping my family can board the ship with me when we get back on. They are in a category 9, but since I'm in concierge I was hoping they could get on with me so we can get a family photo boarding.

Oh I plan to do Pirate night for sure , but I have no Idea what the arrangements are on the 5 day , so if your keeping close attention to them over there just throw me into the Mix I will be there ...LOL

Okay cool ...90 minutes isnt too bad and I dont have that far to move my stuff ....Anyone wanna make a day trip to the World or is that asking too much ???

Don't cancel because of my possible misinformation!!!!!! Call DCL, or have your TA do it, and ask what the procedure will be. Craftymouse also said in her TR that detailed instructions for the procedure were in her cabin the day before. Is there any chance you could stay in the same cabin?

No one on the 5 night really knows what to expect since there has never been a cruise just like this one . . . everyone is hoping to hear the schedule of events (when pirate night is, etc.) closer to time. I don't think we could keep you out of "the mix" if we tried (not that we would want to!) . . .

Our Cabin on the TOAL is not Avail for the 5 day , we tried and keep trying ...I wish we could have the same one but I dont mind moving 2 doors down if thats the worst case scenario .

:welcome: Aboard Mate ...Make sure you check out the website and be sure to be adding the cruise banner to your signature line or you could very well be walkin the Plank ...

pirate:

I have not been on here since my last cruise and was wondering how do you get the cruise banner onto the signature line

Quick check in to say 'hello'.

Hi Andrew! Your barrage of doctor visits starts next week, right?

I was looking at the pictures you posted recently from the previous PC cruise and I couldn't believe how much your children have grown! Of course I may be surprised at how much bigger they are this summer from last summer . . . (and how much smaller their dad is, right? how's the diet?)

Also, from what Craftymouse reported, it doesn't look like you are really off the ship for 90 minutes . . . she seemed to wait in the atrium until they signaled her off, then a quick walk through customs and into the terminal. Then it seemed they were checked right in again and led back on the ship -- seemed like about 9 to 9:45, total.

Copy the signature banner from our website and then edit your signature in User CP, paste the banner in there and then preview your signature to be sure it got on there. (Someone else might give better directions than this, so ask again if you aren't able to make it work with my directions! -- also, he won't REALLY make you walk the plank, but we would like you to have it so you are a part of our crazy group of pirates)

The last group of cruise people I was with were the crazy bananas or something like that so I am used to the crazyness

They have grown a lot, both of them, the difference in them from the 2005 repo to the Med in 2007, is astounding, and many people on the Dis has mentioned that.

Doctors the barrage of appointments starts next week I had BP tonight and a weight check, BP down to 138/82, so in the normal range, and weight I am down a stone from January 1st, if all of the scales are correct!

My new video, how to loose a stone in 16 days is in all good retailers ( and Walmart) next week.

I still have a long way to go.

Alice is also sticking to her, so she is doing well.

Hows you and the three ladies?

PS I do not know if I would like 20 days on the Magic, but didn't have the option due to school starting on September 3rd.

Has anyone had the Puerta Vallarta Canopy Tour request payment?
They sent me an email that they had me down for 1:00pm but it just seemed so casual I wanted to make sure I did not miss anything on paying them anywhere.

The link for payment (via paypal) was at the very bottom of the message.

How is everybody requesting the shore excursions already? I thought you could only do it so many days out. Have any of you gotten your stateroom numbers yet. I know we haven't and we are in the catagory 4's:wizard:
