Ths pins had to be bought and that is when people sleeped in the Atrium...it was a sight to see. I remember getting a blanket had the Panama Canal logo, a lithograph. I think there was something else.. if I remember I will post.

If I'm not mistaken on last years' 11 nite southern they gave us pins when we checked in at the pier... free. I'm not a collector - so I don't recall what the pins looked like - but we got pins and lanyards free. But we just used our DIS lanyards.;)

That was the May cruise that had to sleep over for pins. They had a very organized system in place for August - they had an order form in each room and you filled out what you wanted and put in a bin by Treasure Ketch by a certain date. Everyone was limited to one of each pin for each person in their party and one map per stateroom. Then if there were any left - they were up for grabs. They had everyones order put together and set up pick-up times in the Deck 2 conference room area. Again - very organized and very fair.

I checked pricing for using next years dates this year.

Delta had Non-Stop Flights to LAX & from MCO to BOS $248 Roundtrip with taxes!:thumbsup2

Id say that is a deal!:cool1:

Yeah...

... air for any of us should not be a huge issue as the R/T fares are are cheap enuf to throw away the unused one way. Now O/W fares might or might not be cheaper. We can evaluate the Aug /Sept fares for 2007 to evaluate our air costs.... naturally.

It's a shame DCL didn't use this kind of organizational skills yesterday.

We haven't been told and have no idea. DVC has not decided how many points the rooms will be, or how much the Dollar cost will be. In order to get the special DVC rate, at least one person needs to be travelling on points. We anticipate getting the pricing information sometime this month.

It means that you are garanteed a room at least for catagory 5. The advantage for us is that you give up the right to complain about where we put you. The advantage for you is that you might get an upgrade.

:figment:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Thanks for the laugh this afternoon! :)

I hate to ask this early but is there anyone else who wants 8:00 seating???
We have no children with us ( actually we are grandparents) and want to leave early seating for those wo have small children.

That would be our preferred time. We like the late seatings because we hate to rush early in the evening. Our favorite is always the earliest of the late so we don't miss any of the shows in RBD. We also have no children coming along which means they might give us the latest one.....but I hope not!

Also if you fly on JetBlue, SWA or AirTran, they price each segment of the flight so you might get a good deal that way, 'specially with dings on SWA.

that's a relief...love my pins, but not enough to sleep in the Atrium!!!!:thumbsup2

Just checked my calendar for May 25, 2008 and I am off that day. That is the day the Magic wil arrive here in LA. In 2005 a bunch of us went down to the port and had a DIS welcome party. Here is the link to the photos that I took. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/1355576247069036767NAXGdpIt was quite an affair with helicopters, fire boats and waterskiers. When it gets closer we will get more organized.

I was already planning a trip to LA over Memorial Day weekend 2008 before I knew the Magic was arriving that day so this works out perfectly.....Count us in!!!!

Is this what you're looking for?

That is if you haven't had to much to drink at dinner. Oh wait I think that might be me that didn't make it to RBD.
