Just checked my calendar for May 25, 2008 and I am off that day. That is the day the Magic wil arrive here in LA. In 2005 a bunch of us went down to the port and had a DIS welcome party. When it gets closer we will get more organized.

That sounds like fun. Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Should be able to make it.

I won't have time to follow this thread, but I will check in from time to time (and be utterly lost, I know!). We will be in good old 5650...hooray!!!!! Can't wait to see y'all on board (that is, if I survive the plane ride to the Med repo without going catatonic!). And we should be past cruise #60 by the time we sail through the Canal...woo hoo!

OK, just got off the phone with my mom, she said by "HOOK or CROOK" she wants to remain a "WENCH" for this here cruise, even if she has to eat PB & J sandwiches for the next 18 months. I think she will make a mighty good wench!!!

Now you know I wouldn't let her do that!!!

We're expecting more snow this afternoon, so I better get my tail back to work and get them meters read.

Well, I did finally put the beef & taters in the crockpot for stew tonight. I do have to get away from this computer though and try to make it look like I did something today besides the site & this thread. Someone is stopping by with another letter for the superintendent after school. Oh it is going to hit the fan!!! I am so excited about that. I went to Tarjay this morning & managed to find a lot of deals at 75% off but I will have to share those with you later because it is all out in the car. It's been pouring here since 8 am and snowing 20 minutes from here. WAY too miserable out there so I will have to drive to the corner to pick the kids up from the busstop in an hour.

I got my official confirmation from DU overnight. I went in to check our ressie and it lists the Wonder as the ship ! I tried to check it on the DCL website but no matter which dob I put in it didn't work, so I called right at 8:00 and found out we were all born on Jan 1 - very nice CM fixed it all for me. So I guess we are officially offical with our GTY 6 - hoping for deck 5 (really liked 5122 on the Wonder in Dec.).

I called in sick today - feel worse than I did yesterday. I'll be checking in from time to time (gotta keep that post count up!)

Wow, they had a lot of screw ups yesterday. Hope everyone gets things straightened. I pray they don't leave us in GTY limbo for too long.

Deposits have been paid so we're officially on this cruise. We have 6 adults 2 teenagers and 3 children going. Now all we need is to find out what guarantee rooms we're given. Good wishes to all those waiting like us for their assigned cabins.
