Ok, TA fixed it but now I'm stuck in a GTY 10, Second dining, and a higher price...

Question..Anyone else get a Cat 10 assigned with 2A and 1K(13). what was your price? need to see if i can get some ammunition for an argument...

... your TA owes you a cabin credit equal to 10% of the commissionable fare on your cabin. No less for that gaff. I suggest you simply ask for a huge cabin credit to smooth over the situation. Or at least a nice box of chocolates.

Oh good... Port charges are not that expensive than. A lot of people will drop out over the next 18 months too.. so rooms will open up later just like they do for other cruises...

The prices I just saw were almost $10k for the cat 7 for 1 adult/2 children.
egads.... cat 4, 6, 11 and 12 not even available.

Those prices are for 2A I think.

there is a 250.00 room credit...but that was the norm for the ressie...

Someone on this board about an hour - or 2 - ago that when we finally get through, we will be pleasantly surprised with the prices.....maybe they go by our queue time, which would be 8:03 for me! I hope they're right!

Definately not by your que time. That would have been nice.

mine is showing $5713 for the same Mike......

i know they added insurance not sure about transfers though..i think they did....

i got that horrible room i was in last time.

Well, I did what I probably shouldn't have done but seeing's how I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown, I went ahead and booked us into a gty cat 8 - it's costing me $8699.72 w/o transfers but does include insurance. What gets me is that I could of booked the cat 6 I wanted this morning for only $200 more.

I'm still hopeful that my TA will pull something out of a hat and I will be pleasantly surprised, but from some to the things I'm reading over on the regular boards I mgiht not.

So, by hook or by crook, I'm in - now it is just a matter of WHERE and WHAT CATEGORY!

What all do they need? The names and reservation number and what else?
I am new to this also, but want to take advantage of the OBC.

I would think your Resie number would be sufficient but send them the names & room number just to make sure.

Just got through to DCL (42 minute wait) and they confirmed that the ports are still on the iten, just not showing up online.

There is port info on the website, but no shore excursions yet.

I just looked- cat 4, 6, 11 and 12 are not showing online.
Looking like that but not going to the confirmation page doesn't hold up rooms from other people does it? I cancelled out (by clicking "new search") real quick just in case.

I'm wondering about this myself. And quite honestly getting a little peeved about it. I could be playing with the website to see what's there. I could try and book something on my own. But I don't want to drive up the prices by playing with ressies. I'm sitting back waiting for an email from my TA. I have no idea if she has gotten through yet. And if she has I have no idea what tier pricing she got for us. But I'm getting more and more upset with all the prices being raised. And the only thing I can believe that is doing it would be the playing around on the site while you are either waiting for your TA or waiting for DCL to pick up the phone.

The taxes and fees are only $54.24 pp ($39.24 kids) right now so not much would be saved and many would not be happy anyway.

The port fees are $299.00 per person though.

Ok, crunching my numbers it seems as if I am out around $600 than if I had gotten in at tier 1. The 11 seems to have been very close to Tier 1 (CM said 3). I did save money with the 10%. The Cat 6 (the CM said was at tier 12) seems to have been about in the middle. With the 10% it was still about $24 more than if I got in at tier 1.

We're booked on this cruise too. 2 adults, 2 children, guaranteed Cat. 11.

She hasn't offered anything yet, but I'm waiting to see what others got and possibly use that to my advantage.

She did say though that she belives she has a confirmation for another family on our cruise that wanted the westbound. Once she gets the faxes from disney she said she check and see if she can move us into their ressie....

Just betweeen Kristina's and mine though there is about a 1000.00 difference and she gets sunlight..
