My cell service is the same. There's like 2 spots in my house that I have to stand in when making calls, otherwise I get dropped.


As for web or call, I'm leaving that to my travel agent. Hopefully by the time I get up, she'll have it all handled for me. I'm not trying for a suite or anything, so I'm not too worried about it.

I am taking the easy way out. I booked a fake date onboard last August. I recently added all 4 people in my family to the reservation, gave my TA a total of $2,000 for the deposits, and told her to change the sailing date Wednesday morning to 08/17/2008.

She told me having the reservation booked with the necessary deposit and only having to change the sailing date is the quickest and easiest way to go.

Went to the Disney Character Warehouse today. Got a few deals, some trading pins for $3, a princess sweatshirt, and a Pirate tank top (rhinestone skull and crossbones on the front). They had the Davy Jones costume for $44, but it looks really cheesy. They make it look good online, but in reality, blech!

Did a little paint shopping, but I can't decide on anything. I'm in the middle of remodeling the bathroom. I keep thinking I should go with more color, but all I really like is white for the walls.

Yeah...

... I believe my spouse picked up a pair of ROXY sandles, a black zip up jacket from Macy's that might have been suede or velvet looking... and then I was gonna go wandering at an electornics store called Frys'. They had a San disk Ultra 2 Cf card in 2GB size for $29.99... but I turned around as soon as I walked in as the check out line was huge. Oh well...

And as for remodeling... or redoecorating... we have been musing over all kinds of remodeling and redecorating ideas - even with having recently had a contractor visit who was highly recommended. And it is so complicated and huge a project that it sometimes feels a little overwelming. And I do still like white - even though all those model homes with the fancy euro-californian / mediterranian decors look so nice. Yeah... we probably knock around the same issues as most folks who are not gifted with a interior decorators' eyes!

It's all CGI... they draw them characters "perfect" = or rather - they draw the characters exactly they way they want them to look. I selected this image because it was very high resolution while NOT being too large a file, and because it seemed diplomatically PG, and the expression "fit" what I had in mind. Kind of....

Hi to all. I was holding off on deciding on this cruise until I heard the price on Wed but since it seems to be all I can think about, I am sure we will book unless the price is way way out there. We are transfering our res from 12/8/07 to this one. I am sad about waiting so long since we were finally below a year and now we are back up there again, oh well, it is twice as long.

Hello to all of my fellow "Cruisin Castaways", I have missed you all. Tina, you are killing me with these food pictures, I am on a diet and you are filling my head with all of these images! A special "Hello" to all of my friends from across the ocean. When we get closer we will have to work on the kids exchanging emails again.

The updates are great (I still end up reading all the posts but it is good for a quick update until I have time to catch up. Nice to meet you all!

Although I can see you're not on-line now --- welcome aboard as a likely fellow pirate on the voyage! We are proceeding with almost the exact same attitude: that we're transferring a reservation made while aboard our last DCL voyage and we'll buy and sail - just so long as we're given a less then insulting fare! At any rate - once again I'd like to confirm that you've indeed arrived at the "right" sailin'!!!

Just check out this here treasure trove of soils we'll be sharin' on board!

It is 11:09PM here in California and the rain is still goin'. We've had 35,325 visits to our thread - and we have accumulated 3,630 postings over the past 14 days, 8 hours and 30 minutes. I believe that works out to 20,670 minutes - with an average of ONE posting made every 5 minutes, and 41.65 seconds! The daily POSTING average is 252.89 postings. Not bad... except for the fact it is really border-line psychotic!

I have to remember not to go very long without reading this thread! I had a super busy Saturday and boy howdy, it took me about like FOREVER (okay atleast a really long time) to catch up on all the posts I missed since I'm just now getting back on here!
I think this thread is going to end up giving the blabbermouths thread, of which I was ironically involved with also- go figure LOL, a run for it's money! I wonder how many Dis'ers are going to end up on this cruise!

Well I write with Bad News .....for the second time in 30 days my computer has crashed again ...Last time my computer lost both hard drives ....I have a sony and it runs in raid zero so its like 2 hard drives running as one ...anyway off in the morning to the techs to see if it can be repaired ...Last time I lost everything I had on my hard drive ...I am Hoping that I didnt lose everything again ....If I did Lisa when I get back up and running I sure hope you kept the PSD files of the logos and or banners that I sent you , otherwise I am going to have to redo them over again .....This sucks ...in a bad way ...

Anyway , hopefully I can check in from the lap top ...Have to work fast to be up and running by Wednesday ....Now I am stressed to no end ......eeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr
