Look what I added! I didn't want to have to walk the plank!

Lisa....is my sig still okay??

Are you officially IN for the Repo? I would feel better knowing that another sufferer of the IC wait was onboard!

I just ventured over to the regular boards and saw it posted that DCL doesn't plan to assign staterooms to anyone with a GTY until after final payments have been made in May 2008 - blech!

Ok, not to say this is not true, because it may well be. However, if this info is coming from one CM in DCL Ressies, I would want to clarify with a supervisor. I have had a rude awakening this week, and it is; some CM's are very knowledgable, and some just misunderstand the info they are given and pass that misunderstanding onto the us, the customers. And, some CMs just plain don't know what the heck they are talking about and decide to "shoot from the hip" and say what ever they feel like.

Even this morning, when I called to see what was going on with the Cat 4GTY, I had a CM tell me there was no such thing as an IC waitlist for this cruise. Nope, doesn't exsist. She says, "I have been here 3 yrs and at a another cruisline for 8 yrs so I know what I'ma doing and I can tell you there is no wait list...EVER". Asked to speak w/ a super and of course she was incorrect.

Ok I'm still here.........waiting on the kids
I think when there is actual important information it will be indexed but for now there is none. :lmao: :lmao:

Any questions in particular?

Too many to remember, but from now on I'm keeping notes! Good thing this cruise isn't for 18 1/2 months, I may be up to speed by then. Provided y'all stop talking so much. Can we limit it to 40 pages a day? In order to catch up I spend 1/2 my day reading this thread. I usually open this in a small window and try to scroll thru while doing other work. My boss is starting to notice that routine jobs are taking much longer.

Now, you can clearly see that Debi rides scooters, not bicycles. And her husband, Kevin, drinks coffee.

Cute! "D A" is for Debi Ann and "Huffy" is for Huffman. And yes, I do ride a scooter...a Pink princess: Buddy125 named "Tink" But I'm getting ready to trade her in on a 250cc motorcycle. Of course, I may have to put that off now to help pay for this trip....nah!:p

How funny.....me too! Back in the day we saw bands like New Order, PIL, Sugarcubes, Depeche Mode, and dh even drug me along to a Skinny Puppy concert once.

Sadly, my last concert was the High School Musical Concert with my kids.
I actually enjoyed it (shhhhhh!)

The new "best of" Depeche Mode is a must buy.

Fortunately, great bands still play in Philly. The Pretenders and The Psychodelic Furs were here not too long ago. Elvis Costello & Joe Jackson were playing small venues.

Unfortunately, I usually can't get a sitter.

Last concert I saw was U2. Still hot after all these years !

I agree a bus or whatever to the port is a great idea. The thought of drive in LA traffic :scared1:
I'm in!

It's going to be cold here thru the weekend. The high is only going to be 9*! But in 3 weeks from today, we will be in WDW! Than Magic Western! :beach:

Nothing like lying on a beach drinking rum!pirate:

And of course, kids & mosh pits are NOT a good combination!

Does anyone need, or know of someone who needs a Cat 4 for this cruise?

PM me if you do.

Cool - I love the idea of a bus full of DISers! Could we have one from near DL to the port? I am already planning to spend the day before at DL. DH has been there once and I have been there twice - but DS7 (9 then) has never been there. He is as Disney fanatical as me (maybe more) and has been to WDW 14 times. I'm not sure if he is more excited by the idea of a 15-night cruise or a day at DL! (I've trained him REALLY well ;) :thumbsup2 )

It is currently 12 degrees here near Chicago and it isn't going to warm up at all over the next few days. The "high" on Sunday will be 6 degrees. And I am going to have to go out in it to get to the superbowl party. Definitely can't miss it this year!!! Go BEARS!!!!! :cheer2:

oh man - that is how I felt after taking one of those open air vans from the port in St Thomas to Magens Bay!!!! Probably doesn't compare to your experience, but it was enough for me.....as bad as a roller coaster ride - and I don't do coasters!!!!

Well DW was none too pleased about the taxi ride...and even less so when we took the helicopter from the airport to the hotel...it rained and the canopy wasn't completely water tight...

I see some fellow BayStaters here  Hello Poohssmum & Diane (and of course, my new best friend in the Roy Suite :flower3: ) Did you see we made the national news today

Hi fellow baystater! How do you like this snowless winter so far? I'm loving it, but I don't ski. I just pretty much hibernate all winter long. :cold:

Yes I saw the stupid cartoon character they placed all over Boston on light bright screens scared the bajeebers out of a lot of people. I missed all the ruckus yesterday, because I was a bit busy booking a cruise!

And BTW, I saw that lil' grumpy was also trying to kiss up to our friend from Boston in the Suite. I'm going to see if I can set up a teeny weeny-meet & I'll be the one with a new best friend! :rotfl2: Personally I think we might've scared that person away talkin' about pirating the suite for a partaaay! pirate: :rotfl:

Tigger-----
I think you just named late dining----"the Board Room"
We early diners will just call it the "Bored Room":lmao: :lmao:

Judy, that makes me think of the first day we were on the Magic last cruise. We were up on deck 9 looking around and DS points to the Carnival ship next to us & said, Mommy that's the boring cruise ship. I feel sorry for those people. :lmao:
